Chapter 35

 Jess Pov

My eyes open. I look around, my eyes widen.."What happened" I feel a bit cold. I look down at my chest, I was wearing this.(). The ace bandages were along my stomach and the white ace bandages were on my arms. I look around, jumping at the sight of Derek looking at me. He gets up from where he was sitting at. He walks over to the bed, sitting on the edge. 

He leans in as he kisses me. I smile kissing him."You scared me" I look up at him."Did we win" Derek smiles and nods. I smile as tears well up in my eyes."So Ciara..." I look down folding my hands. Derek raises my head by his finger to my chin."She is fine, she is sleeping, but she doesn't remember anything that happened" 

I raise a eyebrow."Oh" He smiles slowly taking the bandages off."Jess i told you it wasn't a good idea for you to fight alone" I smile."I didn't get that hurt." Derek looks up at me as his eyes flash red. I look away from him."You did Jess, you were being controlled by Gerard." I turn my head to look at him. His eyes were back to normal looking over my stomach, while he pulls the bandages off. He smiles.

"You healed perfect" I look down, looking at my arms and Stomach."No scars." Derek points to a bullet hole that was on the side of my stomach."But this one" I look up at him and smirk."Its proof I'm becoming stronger by every fight." Derek chuckles getting up. Looking over at him.

I smile,to see him get a pair of jeans and a white tank top. I sit up, placing my feet on the ground. Derek comes over to me, pushing me back on the bed. He takes my panties off replacing them with a pair of white cotton ones. I smile, watching him take my bra off, replacing that with a white cotton bra. 

Derek lifts my legs up, placing my legs through the jeans, putting them on me. Then he sits me back on the edge of the bed,putting the white tank top on me. I smile looking at me. Derek pulls a pair of black socks out. He puts them on me as well. I get up, walking over to my mirror, pulling my hair into a bun.(). I walk out the door, to the twins room.

I smile looking at them through the bars. Derek comes up behind me wrapping his arms around me."Your mother asked about you" I look up at him."And?" Derek kisses my head."She wanted to know if you were okay" I nod. I remove Derek's arm that were wrapped around me. I walk to the girls room. I open the door,a huge grin crosses my face, seeing that the girls were sleeping. "Hey Jess" I look at Derek."Hm" He smiles.

'Don't make any plans for tonight,You and I are going out" I raise a eyebrow, walking over to him."To where" He smiles kissing my head."That is a surprise." I cross my arms."Jess, I'm not telling you, you will have to wait." I growl, turning on my heels, walking down the hall to the stairs and walks down the stairs."Fine be that way" 

  I walk down the stair,but Erica stops me at the bottom."March up those stairs and get changed, We are going shopping" I raise a eyebrow."Meaning You and I" Erica sighs pushing me up the stairs. "Okay clean out girlie, I'm going I'm going." I walk into my bedroom, shutting the door. I walk over to the my dresser. Grabbing a tank top out, a pair of shorts. I change into this.() I walk over to my make up kit, doing my makeup, leaving my hair in the bon i put up early. I put my sandles on.

I grab my purse, walking out of the room. I pull my purse strap over my head, placing it on my shoulder. I walk into the twins room, to watch Derek, hold both of the twins. I smile leaning on the door frame."Hey handsome." He looks up at me and then his eyes move over what i was wearing."Going somewhere?" He says/ask. I smile crossing my arms."Erica wants me to go shopping with her"

Derek nods."Be back by 5." I smile walking over to him."Okay Dad" I kiss his head and then the twins."I mean it Jess, Don't make me have to come looking for you" I chuckle."What are you going to do about it?" I say playfully. Derek looks at me, as his eyebrows frown,his face turning serious."You wont get your surpise for tonight" I sigh."Fine" He smiles.'Godd,now get going" I stick my tounge at him, walking out of the room. I walk down stairs. Erica waiting by the door. She turns to me."You ready" 

I look at her and nod. She takes my hand, dragging me out to the car."Why are you in a rush" She smiles."Oh its nothing" I raise a eyebrow."I can hardy believe that" She chuckles. I get into the the car. I look over at her."Where to" She smiles."The mall" I roll my eyes, placing the keys in the engie, driving us to the mall. We get out of the car, as she drags me into the mall. I growl at her."Stop dragging me women" I slap her on the head. She lets go with a growl. I roll my eyes. We walk into a dress shop. I raise my eyebrow."

Why are we here" Erica was raiding the ranks of dresses."To get you ready for the big day tonight' i growl."Why are Derek and you hiding something from me, Does  everyone know something I don't" She raises her head from the ranks and smiles big. I roll my eyes again as she walks over to buy the dress she picked out. I look at it, shaking my head. She buys a pair of shoes,and earrings and a few bracelets. 

I shake my head,walking back to the car, with her. She puts the stuff in the car. I drive ushome, lookinga the clock. i smile a hour until 5. I get out of the car. I smile seeing Derek holding Emily in his lap. She looks like she was telling him something. I walk up the stiars, but then she stops. I raise a eyebrow."Be ready in a hour Jess" Erica pushes me into the house."She will be Derek" She drags me up the stairs to my room."Go get a shower." I roll my eyes, walking into the batroom. I shut the door, getting a quickly get in and out. 

I walk out into my room with a towl wrapped around me.Erica looks up at me and smiles."Get dressed and i will do your hair and makeup. I rub my head, getting dress in the dress and shoes she brought me. I put all the jewelry as well on. Erica pushes me in a chair. She does my hair and make up.'All done" I walk over to the mirror, looking at me(). 

I smile.'What is this all about" I turn to her. She sighs."I can't tell you' I growl, walking past her. I walk down stairs but stop dead in my tracks. My heart stopped. Derek turns around, he had a black suit on and his hair was geled back. My heart was skipping a beat. Derek walks towards me smiling."You like what you see" I look up at him."I..I.." Derek places his finger to my lips."Shh" Dere smiles, wraping his arm into mine."Lets go" I look at him."Where are we going" He smiles."Its a surpise." I sigh. He places a blindfold over my eyes.

"Derek what are you doing" I hear him chuckle."I did say it was surpise." I growl baring ym teeth at him. He laughs, throwing me over his shoulder. I gasp as my stomach hits his shoulder. He walks out the door,putting me int he car. He walks over to the drivers seat. He drives us to somewhere. The car soon stops.I look around. Derek gets out and then opens my door. He helps me out. I grip his arm tightly. 

He chuckles."Jess, relax" I nod.He talks me into a place with music. He leads me to a chair. i sit down. Derek takes the blind flod off of me. I look around, my eyes widen.'This is the bar where we first met" I turn my attention to him. He was on one knee, holding a tiny blue box. I look at him confused. 

Derek smiles opening the box up."Jessica McCall will you marry me"( heart stopped. My breathe got caught in my throat. Tears well up in my eyes."Yes, Yes I will" I let the tears go. Derek places the ring on my marriage finger. I let the tears go as i wrap my arms around him."I love you Jess"
