I have no idea how many chapters I have left for this story. Depends on how much I can stretch it. Probably 3 to 4 more chapters or less. BUT after this book is done, I'm planning on doing the sequel for my Bunny one soon afterwards.  I'm sorry if not many things were clear in this book.

Enjoy!

Craig's Pov :

After Tweek made Alex drink his medicine , we've all gone quiet, except for the occasional cough or sneeze from the kid.

"Alex?" Tweek finally broke the silence and glanced at me before facing him again "Where are your parents?"

Alex shrugged  " I don't know."

"Well, how did you end up in front of my house?" I persuaded and he lifted his head to look at me.

"Um... well, I was brought along by my mom and dad to the nearest liquor shop and on our way back home, we took a different route, I don't know why." He paused, coughed, then continued "Then my parents got into a fight for some reason and they needed to get back to the liquor store so they told me to stay on a bench we passed until they came back."
way he deals with anger.  Alex continued his story in a matter-of-fact voice "But they didn't. So after, um, two hours I think, I stood up from the bench and tried to find my way back home. I couldn't though, because we went on a different road so I didn't know where to go. Then I saw the Boxing Centre in the distance, almost faint,  so I went in that direction but after a while , my legs gave out and ended up sitting down against a wall of a house. Then he found me." Alex looked at me them back at Tweek.

"Were they drunk?" Tweek asked him, in a soothing voice.  Like you when you left Bebe's party? I thought ironically but didn't say a word.

"Yeah, they usually are. They say drinking helps them calm down."  Alex shook his head, as if he didn't believe it "They like to lock me in the basement when we are at home.  In our house ,it's referred to as the Play room but I don't get to play often there. They lock in me in there in the darkness. They know I don't like the dark but they still do it and they keep me there for a long time."

"How long do they keep you there." I was suprised at my own voice and he seemed too.

"I don't know. I never keep track of time.  Maybe days, I think I can tell when I start to get really hungry or thirsty. Usually, I get to sleep at least but other times they handcuff me to the door so I don't really have a choice but stand up." Alex sighed "They sometimes  punished me by making me do dangerous things,  like cook for them. I ended up burning my left arm."
He rolled up his sleeve to prove it to us and sure enough, there was a long life mark there.

"Do you have no one left in your family that doesn't do all this horrible things? " Tweek asked, inspecting Alex's wounds closely.

Alex smiled widely, showing us a toothy grin "I used to. My grandma was really nice, she brought me presents everytime she came visiting. Well I never got to keep them but still. She was really nice but she's dead now. Had a heart attack a few weeks ago. Didn't make it."  He paused and stared at us strangely  "Why isn't it normal for parents to do that?"

Tweek grabbed Alex's hand "God no, parents are not supposed to hit and humiliate and neglect their children like that."

"Oh." He replied and sneezed, I handed him a tissue  "They told me it was.  Are you gonna make me go back to them?"

"Not at all, you'll proably be sent to live in foster homes until you're eighteen." I stated truthfully and Tweek send me a death glare. I guess I shouldn't scare the kid that much.
But Alex seemed unperturbed at this.
