The best/worst thing about touring was the bus. It was fun at times but it just reeked of old socks and b-o. Normally, Hayley and I would ride in the crew bus but the boys let us ride with them so we can at least have a little fun in our lives.

Hayley is up at the front of the bus with Harry and the rest of the lads and I am curled up on the little couch at the way back of the bus. I have my ear buds in and the music turned up loud. I usually don't like to talk to anyone at night. I don't know why, I just dont.

By this time of night I just think about everything. Friends, family, life in general. I've been thinking about family over everything else lately. My brother is really the only thing I have left of my family. But then again, he isn't.

See my parents were complete opposites. My dad was more outgoing and my mom kept to herself. He had a long term job and she stayed home. He was more laid back and easy going and she was more pushy about things.

They fought a lot while my brother and I were going through middle school. By our freshman year, they got divorced and my dad ran out of there as fast as he could. My mom couldn't stand my brother and I so she found her opportunity to kick us out onto the streets. My brother had ran away completely after that. The last thing he said to me was, "Sorry, I'll see you somewhere else someday." and off he went.

That's when Hayley took me in. Her and her family have been taking care of me for the past 5 years. I consider her the big sister I never had. That's why she means so much to me.

I just wonder where my brother went. I wonder how he is, if he has a job, if he found someone who cares about him. But I haven't seen him since he ran. I doubt I'll ever see him again.

My thoughts are interrupted when Liam comes to the back to grab something. I take my ear buds out so he knows I know he's there.

"Hey, J. I just needed to grab my laptop. Are you alright?"

I just nod and sit up a little. He comes and sits next to me.

"I'm just thinking about my brother," I say quietly.

The boys know what happened with my brother. But the only one who knows all the details is Liam.

"Yeah, I get it. If I was in your shoes I would think about the same thing. Just try not to worry about it okay? Worrying never does much good to a person," He says before pulling me into a hug. "Why don't you get some sleep, yeah? Maybe that will help."

I just nod and yawn. He gives me a kiss on the head and gets up to leave.

"Goodnight, Liam," I say with a small smile.

"Goodnight, love," he says.

He walks back to the front and I curl up next to the window. That's when Niall walked in.

"Hey, just wanted to see how you were doing," he says while sitting next to me.

I yawn again.

"I was actually going to try to get some sleep. But that might be hard considering I don't sleep well in vehicles," I say.

He chuckles a little and starts to get up,"Yeah I know how that's like. Well I'll leave you alone so you can sleep. Goodni-"

"Niall?"

He stops and looks at me.

"Yeah?"

"Can you sing to me?"

He gives me a small smile and nods.

"Of course, love. Come here," he says while opening his arms.

I cuddle next to him and rest my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arm around me. I then shut my eyes and his angelic voice rings in my ear as he begins to sing Lego House by Ed Sheeran.

"I'm gonna pick up the pieces, and build a lego house. If things go wrong, we can knock it down..."

His voice began to fade as I fell into a deep sleep. And the best deep sleep it was.
