When lunch was over, I wasn’t looking forward to Biology. People still stared and talked. It was weird. When Bella and I got closer to the classroom, I decided I didn’t want to go.
I turned to go in the opposite direction but Bella caught me. She started to push me as my feet slid against the floor.
Mike looked over at us.
“What?”
“Nothing, nothing.”
He walked into the classroom.
“Mr. Molina”
“Yes”
Mike motioned to Bella and I. She had her arms firmly around me.
“Ahh, the Swans.”
I was given a book like Bella was.
He looked at her. “I have a seat right here for you”
She motioned to the seat next to Edward Cullen. She gave me a look before walking over and sitting down. He was holding his nose like something smelled.
“Austen Swan”
I nodded. “Have a seat next to Mr. Dawson-Cullen”
My face flushed some as I saw the boy from lunch. I lightly stumbled over my feet as I went to my seat.
I gave a scared look to Bella. She nodded slightly. I sighed and shakily took a seat next to Jack.
“Today we’ll be observing the behavior of planaria, a.k.a flatworms”
Jack pushed a dish over to me and got his. I glanced over at Bella. To my amusement, she was smelling her hair. She looked back at me to see me stifling my laughter. She shot me a slightly dirty look which made me grin innocently at her.
