The day today is the way I like, cloudy and windy, it even makes me think that is going to rain later. Now, I'm sitting on the bench, smiling while staring at some kids playing and running in the other side of the park. Sao wanted to see me after what happened with my father, so she's here saying how she wanted to go on a trip again. And I can't blame her, I wish I could do it again for sure.

"So... how's things in your house?" She asks gripping my chin in her hands and turning my head to the side so she could see my cheek. "Is your cheek hurting? It is red yet.."

I exhale loudly, looking at her. "It's.. normal, the normal that you know." I put my hand on my cheek, feeling it a little hot. "And yes, it is hurting but not as yesterday."

"What about aunt Anna, she's going out in the middle of the night yet?"

I told her about my mother and how she goes out at 2am twice a week or sometimes every night.

"Yes and I don't know where she goes, I wish I could follow her, but I can't leave my brother sleeping alone with my father."

"Well.. if you want, I can go to your house and stay with Rafael while you follow your mother. I'm curious to know why she's doing it too."

"Yeah.. not bad idea, I can text you when she leaves and you go to my house while I follow her." I say.

"Deal!" She seemed excited and I can't blame her, I am too, more anxious than excited, but ok. "Well, I'm going to buy us ice cream, wait here girl!" And then she gets up and walk away.

"I wish my life could be normal, ugh." I murmur to myself, closing my eyes and feeling the wind in my hair.

My head was always so full about the things happening that sometimes I wanted to run away, or sleep for months.

Then I started to hear two people talking and getting closer to where I was, I opened my eyes, turning my head and widening my eyes. Sao was coming back with our ice creams and with... Cody?

"What the...?" I start lowly.

"Hey Ray, here's your ice cream and this is-" She said handing me my ice-cream but Cody stopped her before she could finish.

"Hey Ravenna, how are you today?" He says with a sweet smile on his face.

"I'm... I'm good, you?" I take the ice-cream from Sao hands.

"Wait.. you two know each other?" Sao asks surprised and before I could answer her, Cody spoke.

"Kind of."

"How? And you." She looks at me. "Why you didn't tell me about him?" Smiling.

"Ahm.." I couldn't think about any answer.

"We met each other because of some people we know." He smiles softly at her. "So, how long you've been friends?" Then he looked at me and I could feel that he wanted to change the subject.

"Oh for about seven years, you could tell that we're sisters." Sao says smiling and eating her ice-cream.

I was like a statue, I didn't know how to act or say. Then I feel the ice cream melting in my hands and this made me "woke up". I lick the melted ice cream but without stopping looking at them.

"Oh that's amazing, I have long-time friends too." I glare at him and he was already looking at me. "So, I have to go girls. See you later."

I hope not.

"GIRRRRRRRRL, he's so fucking handsome, oh my goooood!" Sao almost screams at my ears when Cody walks away.

"Yeah I know, his friends too." I say, licking my ice cream.
