Chapter 4

Rebecca's POV~

"Morning sweetheart" says my dad whilst I make my way down our cold wooden stairs and nearly slip and fall flat on my face,that would get me some attention in school wouldn't it.

"Morning dad, what's for breakfast?" I ask demandingly.

"Whatever you want? Your favourite?" He says, a smirk approaching on his face.

"Pancakes? You being serious? Dad I love you!" I say with a big smile.

"Hey dad, can I go round Kaitlyn's today?" I ask, at the same time shoving a mouthful of pancakes down my throat.

"As long as you behave then yes, what are you planning to do? Meet boys?" He ask with a stern look.

My dad was never really into me dating that much, he said that all boys were stupid and at my age I should be only focused on school and my GCSEs, to be fair to him he's right, boys are stupid and my GCSEs are coming up soon. I will get Kaitlyn to study with me, she would love it, she's a bit of a nerd to be honest, but not in a bad way, she's clever and pretty. God she's got it all, what do I have, I'm not smart, I'm not exactly gorgeous, but I've got a dad I suppose, her parents put her up for adoption as soon as she was born, they didn't want her. I don't see why, she's lovely,cute and innocent. But she has an amazing family now so I guess if she's happy, I'm happy!

"No dad just planning for history class and starting a bit of revision!" I say with a worried tone.

"Okay! you would tell me if you were dating though! wouldn't you?"

"Yes of course I would dad! Boys are stupid anyway and we've only just moved! Schools more important!got my GCSEs coming up and I need to prepare not have my mind on pathetic boy drama." I say.

But I can't help but feel guilty as soon as I say that, I mean what about Dylan, he's an amazing guy,he's cute,sweet and he treats me like I'm royalty ! Me? Royalty ? Ha!

Kaitlyn's POV~

"Morning everyone!" I say as I walk towards the dinning table for breakfast.

I hear a sudden "HELP" coming from the kitchen, as I rush in I realise that it's only my little brother Toby being sprayed by his friend Alex with the tap.

"You two should learn some manners you know, no playing in the kitchen with water because you might--"

I am rudely cut off by a ringing at the doorbell.Who could that possibly be at this time in the morning! It only-- oh shoot! It's Bec! I thought that it was like 8:00, turns out its 12:00 and she is right on time. I ask Alex and Toby to keep her stalled whilst I quickly get dressed and try and fix whatever this thing is on my head, it's very hard to get it to look nice for school you know, it takes me a whole 2 hours to do it!As I quickly rush through my bedroom, I stub my toe on my desk,causing it to bleed enormously, I think that I screamed a little to be honest because I heard my mum shout up the stairs to me.When I've finally sorted out my hair,brushed my teeth and sorted my painful toe out, it was time to finally go and greet Becca.

"Hey Bec--" I pause in shock as I see that she wasn't here.

Where is she? I try and wander around the house for a bit wondering if the boys gave up and let her in but then I hear a scream and laughter from outside.I run outside to find Becca and Alex and Toby all having a water fight, I mean it's a nice day but seriously, my hairs so screwed! Its going to look like it did when I woke up for goodness sake!

"Hey Kat!" I hear Becca shout from the other end on the garden.

"Hey sis, she is really bad and needs a teammate" Toby says smirking at me, he knows that I absolutely adore water fights just not when my hair is perfect, but I thought, you know what I'm gunna go for it! Me and Becca were obviously into the same kind of stuff and this would test our abilities out together.
