==Lacey==I was almost asleep on Nathan's lap when another round of cheers came from the people around me, we were at yet another of Ashers football games. It seemed like we had to go to these every week when all I wanted to do was watch cartoons.
Nathan is my oldest brother, he's 26 and probably the most protective of me, every since our parents disappearance he's barely let me out his sight.
Asher is the second youngest of my brothers at 18-years-old. He plays varsity football meaning i'm always spending my free time watching him on the field, I mean i was proud none the less but sometimes I feel like he uses my cuteness to get girls, which i'm not okay with. They always pinch my cheeks and it's sore!
I sat up almost instantly as I heard the crowd roar. I groaned and snuggled back into Nathan's warm chest. I heard his steady heartbeat thump inside him. He was rubbing circles round my back as I was sat on his lap straddling him trying to stay awake but failing, my eyes where heavy and it was getting hard to keep them open.
The deep, enthusiastic voice boomed out the rather large speakers around us saying something along the lines of with only 30 seconds left Asher Thompson makes a great catch and is sprinting to get a touchdown, dodging players left and right will he make it? oh almost lost it and he's almost there, aaaaaand TOUCHDOWN.
The whole crowd stood up and cheered and then this super loud buzzer went off signalling the end of the game. I felt myself being lifted up from Nathan's lap and being carried down the steep stairs in his arms. I rubbed my eyes tiredly to find myself being carried across the field to where a large group of smelly boys where celebrating what I assume was a win.
"Hey sleepy girl, go say well done to Ash" says Nathan calmly as he set me down to the ground, I whined just wanting to be held but he ushers me over to my big stinky brother.
Asher notices me and kneels down to my height and opens his arms, I slowly trudge over to him and he picks me up and places me comfortably on his hip. I give him a kiss on the cheek as a well done.
"Awh thank you Lace" Asher cooes, I hated when people did this because it was embarrassing and annoying. I blush and bury my head into his shoulder. He pats my pack gently.
Some cheerleaders came over surrounding us.
"Is this your sister, Ash?" asks one.
"She's so adorable" says another.
Asher smiles confidently, "Yeah, Lacey say Hi" he pats my back once again but a little firmer so I would look up.
I yawn as I examine the cheerleaders around me. "H-hi" I say shyly, I didn't really like speaking to people I don't know, stranger danger and all that. They all giggled and waved at me, I blushed and snuggled my head back into the crook of Ash's neck. A wave of awhs came from the girls and I internally rolled my eyes.
"Jay take her, i'm going to get dressed and we're going out to celebrate" Ash says to Jay.
Jay is my youngest brother, he's nearly 15. I don't think he likes me although he can be nice sometimes but he's super grumpy a lot and never plays with me. He's pretty popular in school and plays football as-well.
"hey look at me" I look up at Asher "be good alright babe? i'll see you tomorrow Lace" he kisses my forehead and passes me over to Jay who groans as i'm put in his arms. As soon as Ash turns around i'm basically dropped to the ground.
"I'm not carrying you all the way back to the car, you have legs, use them." he moans, I look up at him with sad eyes, i'm just too tired and I want to be held is that so much to ask?
"don't look at me like that Lacey" I look down at my feet as the tears start pouring from my eyes. "no wait don't cry, come on Lace" I couldn't stop myself, I was tired and cold and sad. "And she's crying...great" I could almost hear Jay rolling his eyes. "Come here" he lifts me onto his hip and starts walking off the field and across the parking lot to the car.
Standing at the car is my second oldest brother Tyler, he's 22. He's my favourite brother right now cause he always gets me cookies from the jar on the top shelf. He's never really home anymore but I don't know why.
"Tyler" I whined stretching my arms over to him and making grabby hands, I knew full well I was acting like a baby but quite frankly I did not care. He takes me straight from Jays arms to his.
"Hey baby, are you sleepy?" I nodded into his shoulder. "You can sleep in the car on the way home huh?" I nod again. I'm placed into my car seat and rest me head against the side and before I knew it I was sleeping. I could still hear the conversations going on outside.
"Hey, she asleep?" asked a voice a recognised as Nathan.
"yeah, it's been a long day for her" says Tyler.
"Even longer day for us." Jay sighed sadly, I wondered why but I was too deep in my sleep to hear anything else.
