Funneh's POV

"We're going to be alright. We'll get through this!" My mom's encouraging voice rang through the air. I hugged my siblings and parents tighter as giant waves crashed into the sinking ship. Soon a huge wave crashed into the boat, and it went tumbling over. I felt a sharp pain on my back as I hit the dark water, my eye-site fading away.

I woke up on the sand, soft waves touching my gentle feet, and I stared at them. I have only one shoe on? I can't remember anything at all; my mind is completely blank. I don't know who I am or why I'm in this strange place.

I get up and sickening cramps are felt in my trembling legs. I stumble towards a forest that I'm going towards, my ocean blue eyes shining in the light.

I look up at a coconut tree. "Yum... I don't know how long I haven't eaten for, but I know those coconuts look delicious!" I say to myself. I start to climb up the coconut tree. I got 20 feet up, but then my foot slips on the slick wood, and I lose grip. I was then hanging there from one arm, looking like a helpless fool.

I toss my other arm up and it grips onto the tree. I push my feet up back onto the tree and soon I reach a coconut. I grab it and then climb halfway down, jumping onto the the soft sand.

Once I reach the ground, I realize I'll need to find something to smash the coconut open with.

Running off into the forest, I finally find a rock that I can smash the coconut on. I bang the coconut into the rock with all the strength I have. It cracks open, and the next thing I know, a big cage made out of bamboo and vines has been toppled on me.

I see a figure, probably a girl and then everything goes black.

I wake up to where I can barely move at all because my hands and feet are both tied.

"What the-" "Ah! Your awake." A brown haired girl with a one sleeve tan dress, brown leggings, and tall boots says. "Uh, can you please untie me?" I ask. "Hunny, I tied you up, but I can untie you if your not dangerous. I'll need to question you first." She says. "I'm not dangerous! I'm just a girl who has no idea who she is." I spat. "I have no idea where I am at all, either!"

"Really? I don't know who I am, too! And when I first woke up I didn't know where I was. But now this is my home." The girl smiles as she unites me, motioning around her 'base' after she finishes.

The girl puts the rope that once held me together in her small, leather backpack. She holds out her hand and I grab it, pulling me up in a blink of an eye. I can barely stand, and almost topple on top of her. "Anyways, hi!" The woman says.

"Uh, hi? Woah!" I exclaim, looking around the amazing place. There was a ladder leading up to a triangular tree house, a campfire in the center of the area, and a clothing rack with mostly tan and brown outfits hanging.

"You must be hungry." She says walking over to the fire. "Yes, I'm starving! By the way, what happened to my coconut?" I question the stranger. She laughs hysterically while taking two fish off of a stick above the fire. "Why are you laughing?" "Because I ate your single coconut!" She exclaims, bursting into a laughing fit. "Ugh." I groan. I couldn't believe she just ate a stranger's food like that!

"Alright, come over here and sit." She gestures me towards her. I come sit down by her, on a log, and she hands me a grilled fish and I dig in. After all, I was pretty much starving. "What can I call you?" I ask her. "Uh, I dunno." She implies while munching on her fish. "How about I call you Gold because your ring is Gold!" I say. "Gold? I guess that's fine by me." She says, smiling.

Gold's POV

I can't believe she noticed my little ring. But then I realize something incredible. "We have the same ring." I say. "No way! That's impossible!" She says, looking at our matching rings. She pulls my hand close to hers, and we stare at them for a while, taking everything in.

This can't be a coincidence. We both don't know who we are or where we are at all. We also have the same ring! How is this possible? I am starting to feel like I remember this blue haired girl from somewhere, but I can't remember exactly where. Hopefully, I'll find out soon enough. I couldn't just sit here and wait for something amazing to happen, I had to act, and solve this crazy mystery.
