???'s POV

"This is taking forever! We need a break. My arms are hurting, I can't take this any longer!" I complain, but my building partner didn't agree. "NO! We must build this tent so the ugly bears don't get in." "Are there even bears in a forest?" I question my friend while building the tent. "Yup! Now stop blabbering and get back to work. We need this finished by tonight!" She spats while banging her hammer onto a stick that attached the tent to the ground.

When Night Fell

We finished the tent by the dark hours, and now we are inside it with a blanket over us, which is actually animal skin. She leans onto me, grabbing my delicate hand in the process.

"I can't believe we have the same ring." she says while glancing at our rings, squeezing my hand. "Yeah, it's incredible." I imply back to her. "Do you think we're connected somehow?" She asks me. "I think we are." I reply, questions and theories racing through my mind. "You're like a brother to me even though I've only known you for two weeks. I've never felt this way with a person before. I can actually trust you." She says. I take in her comment and say, "Your like a sister, someone I can tell anything to. All of my secrets." She starts to close her eyes, drifting into a short sleep before a loud noise jolts her awake.

SCRATCH

"What was that?" I ask in fear. "A wild animal I'm guessing." She replies. "What do we do?" I ask her. She says nothing and grabs my hand.

She leads me out of the tent, prancing away from our hide-out. I look back while running and I see a big, furry bear on the tent. The bear makes eye contact with me and starts to chase after us. "There's a bear chasing us!!!" I exclaim. She still says nothing but just runs faster, dragging me with her.

She leads us to a tree, beginning to climb it. I make it to the first branch but she is losing her grip. "I c-can't h-hold on..." She stammers, frightened. Her hands slip and when I blink she isn't holding on anymore. She screams while tumbling down until I reach as far down as I can and grab her hand, pulling her up.

"Thank you." She says, gratefully. "Don't thank me yet, the stupid bear is climbing up the tree!" I yell. We start to scale the tree again, but the bear keeps following us.

"We gotta jump onto a different tree." My friend implies. "How are we gonna do that? We'll sure plummet to our death if we try." I say, expecting our downfall to happen any second now. "You just gotta believe in yourself, and trust me." She says as she grabs my hand and gets ready to jump. "Okay..." I say back.

I don't know if her plan is going to work, or if we're going to make it, but I do trust her, more than anyone else. Though, I don't exactly remember anyone...

We jump, aiming for the next tree. My eyes are closed while I'm airborne. I grab something that feels like a branch. I open my eyes and she has caught onto a branch, too. We pull ourselves up, onto the tree. "Now, we just gotta get down." I say. "No. We should sleep here tonight. I'm too tired to run anyways." She says, hanging her bag off of the end of the branch we're sitting on.

I get settled, too, and then ask, "Can you tell me your name? You haven't told me yet." "I don't remember mine. I've tried to, but I just can't!" She says sadly, looking up at the night sky. "Same with me, too. You're not alone." I say, trying to comfort the teal haired girl. "But I think I'm going to call you Lunar." I say. Lunar looks at me, "Why's that?" "Because you were looking up at the stars." I say. "Fine then. I'll call you Draco because you have a dragon backpack!" Lunar laughs. I laugh with her, my arm falling around her shoulder.
