Chapter 3

* Riley's POV *

I grabbed my phone unlocking it. " The lady infront of me couldn't decide what size shoes she wanted " Sam sat next to me. I locked my phone not checking the text putting it in my bag.

" I like these shoes they're cute " I put my leg on Sam's thigh so he could tie the lace. " They look like old grandma shoes " he patted my leg. " Well then they're cute grandma shoes " I tapped the screen to insert our names.

" I won " I raised my arms.

" I let you win " he wrapped his arms around me. " Sure you did " I smiled pulling away still holding his hands.

" I did, you want to go for another round? "

" yes, but we each get our own lane this time " I took a seat. " I'll be right back let me pay for another round then " he walked away smirking.

I grabbed my bag looking for my phone. I reached it quickly unlocking it to check the text. They're was an image as an attachment. A recent picture of Hailey and Aiden hugging...

Unknown: " How much is she worth to you? "

I locked my phone and grabbed my bag. " Sam lets go " I grabbed his arm. " Why I just paid, are you backing out because you know I'll win? I'll have a bit of mercy " he laughed.

"Sam " I handed him my phone with the text. His smile soon faded, he grabbed my hand pulling me out. " I want you to call her if she doesn't answer call Aiden " he started the car.

" They're not answering "

" Call again " he hit the steering wheel. " Nothing " I dropped my phone onto my lap.

" You think it's ... "

" I don't know, dont even mention his name " I bit my nail. We got home quickly jumping out of the car and running to the door. " Why didn't you answer your phones! " I dropped my bag on the counter.

" They're charging " Aiden moved his arm from around Hailey. " What are you two doing " Sam walked in behind me.

" We're not doing anything bad were just watching a movie " Hailey smiled. My phone started ringing again I grabbed it opening the text

Unknown: " You're quick but that wasn't a warning next time it will just be an unexpected surprise "

" What is it? " Sam grabbed the phone from my hand. " Aiden you need to go home " Sam handed me my phone.

He hugged Hailey before leaving.

" Am I in trouble? " Hailey sat up. " No. Hails have you had any contact with Mason? "

" No why " She looked at me then back at Sam. " You're in danger I'm getting threats that they'll hurt you "

" So you think it's Mason? "

" I dont know Hails I want you to stay home for now don't go out unless we allow you. If you see anything weird going on you tell us. "

" Okay, I'm going up to my room now " she fixed her sleeve.

" Are you scared? " Sam sat next to me holding my hand.

" Is it okay to be scared? " I looked at him.

" Not when I'm here to protect you " he kissed my cheek.

I parked the car and tapped the steering wheel with my nails deciding wether to get off or not. I got off walking towards the door once again debating if to knock or not. I knocked once and the door soon swinged open.

" Riley "

" Can I come in? "

" Ummm "

" Kim you went to my house wasted five minutes of my time I think it's fair you give me five minutes as well "

" Come in " she open the door wider. " How did you know where to find me? "

" I know my ways, and unless like you I know what I came for I want you to tell me where's Taylor and Mason. " I took a seat

" I dont know "

" So he's alive "

" Riley I dont know, if I did I would let you know but I dont."

" Call Mason " I grabbed her phone and handed it to her.

" What? "

" Call Mason dont say you dont have his number because I'm beyond sure you do"

She looked at me for a couple of seconds and began dialing. She gave it to me and it was answered after the third ring

" Damm it Kim I told you not to call me "
