I didn't know how we managed. Here we were about a year later, and it was happening. This time I wasn't going to run. I was here to stay. There was no kavah, and no rituals. There was only us, and our families.

My hand had healed, and so did my other wounds that had been marked on my body. Time would heal the other wounds. The wounds of those that were lost. Walter, Greta, Aster, Jeb. Many more who had sacrificed themselves for the war.

The doors opened, and I walked in. A new wedding dress was made, and there was no robe. It was simple, and plain, and just what we wanted. It was a break in our busy lives, and simplicity made it better.

I smiled when I saw him there. Rafe stood at the end of the aisle, with Sven and Kaden right next to him. Pauline stood to the other side, her son in her arms. I walk to the end, my father kissing my cheek as he walked me. There was hardly anybody here, and that was how we wanted it.

The ceremony passed and we left the chapel. I smiled at Rafe as we walked out to announce the wedding to both the Dalbreck and Morrighan people.

"Citizens of Morrighan," my father began. "It is with great joy that I announce to you, the marriage of my daughter, Queen Jezelia of Venda, and King Jaxon of Dalbreck."

We stepped forward and the crowd applauded for us. I don't know how long it lasted, but it was long enough. I smiled at Rafe almost the whole time. This was our first time back to Morrighan since the Great War. We decided that with my brother's poor health we would do it here where he would be able to attend.

Walking back inside I kiss Rafe. "I love you," I whispered.

"And I love you," he said back as he lifted me off my feet.

I let out a joyous laugh as he swung me around the room. "Love always finds a way."

"Now that I have to agree with."

Rafe sat me down on the ground and kissed me passionately. For a moment it was just us. No one else. I was in Terrivan all over again. When we broke the kiss the vision faded and I was back in our bedroom in Morrighan.

"We should probably get going. Your family is going to wonder where we are," he said.

"Correction. Our family. You're a part of it now Rafe," I responded.

He smiled and we left the room. A feast was prepared and all of us were seated. My aunts, mother and father, Pauline and Kaden, Bryn and Reagan. Then all of Rafe's closest men. Seven, Tavish, and Orrin. There was still a hole in Rafe from Jeb's death. I felt it too when I thought of him.

I shook off the sadness and began to eat. The table was full of joyful banter, and stories. I didn't want it to end. But it did, and we all retreated to our rooms. I watched as Bryn made his way off to his room. Part of his leg missing. Our search for the missing cabinet members was still hot. I wasn't going to stop until I found them and made sure justice was insured.

Rafe placed a hand on my back as he led me to our room. He opened the door and we both walked in. Before the door was shut he began to kiss me. These kisses where different from the ones he had given me before. Passionate, needy, loving. Things I didn't typically feel in our kisses everyday.

Needless to say there wasn't much sleeping that night.
