SENSAI! He's not breathing! Help! " screamed a crying sakura.
Kakashi looked up from his book to see Sakura running towards him.
"What's going on? " he asked
"N-naruto" she said breathlessly " he fell in the river, h-he's not breathing! "
Kakashi instantly snapped his book closed and told Sakura to show him where Naruto was.
As they ran Sakura tried to give more details on what happened.
"He wouldn't listen. We found the missing cat but it ran up a tree sasuke tried to tell him the tree branches wouldn't support his weight but Naruto wouldn't listen. He got the cat but it got angry and started scratching him and got away, but it knocked Naruto off balance. The branch he was on snapped and he fell in the river. Me and Sasuke waited but he didn't come back up so Sasuke went in to get him. When Sasuke got back with Naruto he couldn't find a pulse. " Sakura was crying harder now " I'm sorry sensei i should've tried harder to stop him. "
Kakashi was at a loss for words, was He really about to lose the legacy of his sensai?
Sakura led him to a tree surrounded by wild flowers and patches of grass. Sasuke could be seen leaning over a still Naruto attempting chest compressions. Kakashi swiftly made his way over while Sakura stayed behind covering her mouth to hide her distress.
"Sasuke his jacket is in the the way we have to remove it" Kakashi said
Sasuke have a quick nod and began unzipping Naruto's jacket
Underneath was a thin fishnet shirt and the water had drenched it completely making it see through. Two small mounds were clearly visible and everyone but Kakashi was surprised by this sight. Kakashi was more concerned about his students life and began pressing down on Naruto 's chest with more force than Sasuke was capable of, while Sakura and Sasuke recovered from the realization that apparently Naruto was a girl.
Naruto's eyes fluttered and water began to trickle from the sides of her mouth. She shot up from her ground position and began coughing and spewing larger quantities of water.
Kakashi eyes her carefully in case she needed more assistance. Sasuke stays quiet but his mind is in turmoil, and Sakura stays in shock.
"Ughhhh " Naruto groans
"Naruto how do you feel? " Kakashi asks
Naruto is still groggy and doesn't comprehend Kakashi's question, she instead looks down at her open jacket then back up at her team. She sees Sakura staring at her she follows her gaze back to to her open jacket and slowly realized what happened. She sprints up and hurriedly turns away from her teams stares to zip her jacket back up.
She feels her eyes beginning to water. She had tried so hard to keep this a secret. The village already didn't respect her when she pretended to be a boy, but she knew it would be worse if they knew her true gender. Now her sensai and teammates know so it's only a matter of time before everyone knew.
"Naruto... You're a girl?" Sakura said finally breaking out of her shock.
Naruto really didn't want to go through this so she decided to deny it even though she knew there was no point even trying.
She forced the tears to go back into her eyes and put on the biggest fake smile in her life, before turning around
"Huh? What do you mean why would you think that?"
" I... " Sakura couldn't bring her self to finish her sentence so she instead shifted her gaze to the ground.
Kakashi could feel the tension rolling off Naruto and could cut through it with a kunai if he wanted to. "Sasuke, Sakura training is over I'm bringing Naruto to the hospital, training is postponed for tomorrow"
Naruto was picked up and teleported leaving Sasuke and Sakura
Behind.
"How did I never figure it out" Sakura muttered
"Hn" Sasuke answered which in his mind roughly translated to 'Naruto's a girl!? Naruto's a girl!? Naruto's a girl!? How many lies have I been blind to? wait does this mean Sakura is a man!?'
Sakura not being fluent in Sasuke's hn's nodded in his direction as if he'd just contributed something great to her one sided conversation.
---------------meanwhile with Kakashi and Naruto -------------------
Kakashi had been slightly shocked but in the end Naruto's turning out to be a girl was not on his list of things to care about.
He was a little impressed though, to hide something like that for so long from a ninja like him, yeah that takes skill.
But he couldn't let Naruto keep silent about today's events when it was still clearly bothering her.
"Naruto I don't know why you'd ever feel the need to hide something like this but since you obviously never intended for us to find out I'll keep it secret. I'll inform your teammates to keep it quiet too."
Naruto lay on a hospital bed with a blanket covering her head pretending to be asleep
"The nurses want to keep you here for a night in case more complications show up... Training starts again the day after tomorrow, see ya"
Naruto uncovered her head to see her sensai is gone "I'm never helping another cat again." She growled out whilst thinking nothing but ill will towards the animal that got her in this mess.

Naruto hit her head in the water so they kept her in the hospital for a while in case she had a concussion, I don't think I have a lot of detail and I know I could've said this in this in the story and I have no idea why I didnt. (Laziness to go back)
