~~~~~~~~~~ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ~~~~~~~~~~Taehyung's POV
"Mayday Mayday..." Screaming into my radio, my plane plummeted falling faster and faster towards the earth, "Anybody?! I've taken serious damage to the right wing! Over!" Taking my family picture off of the dashboard, I quickly stuck it in my pocket after kissing it. Looking at each of their beautiful faces, Eomma, Jin, I love you all so much...
"Captain Kim, where are you currently? Over," Replied one of my officers, breaking me out of my trance as the sky lit up with explosion after explosion, the dog fight had been going on for awhile. Planes falling like flies, bullets cutting through the air, piercing metal like it's paper. Me and my squadron had came over from South Korea to help in this damn war, all that has came out of it is death and endless bloodshed.
"I believe I'm close to Carew Castle ruins! I'm aborting Officer Wang, Over!" Fear began to run wild within me, sweat dripping from my head, making my dark hair soaked under my helmet. The fire on the right wing was spreading quickly, making the cabin feel like a furnace.
"Good luck Sir!" I heard through the radio as I rushed for the ejector lever, I catapulted into the air. The plane began to spin out of control as the wing finally broke off, the adrenaline became unbearable as I watched my air craft rocket to the ground exploding as it finally landed. Fire wrapping around the air as the long grass hid the damaged vessel. My hands began to shake from the shock, as I finally plopped to the group. Expecting to land in the marshy ground, I was expecting a soft landing.
However, that wasn't the case as I landed harshly upon a large, cold, flat rock, What the hell? Of course I would land on the hardest bloody surface! I cursed, pulling my helmet and parachute off quickly, I sat there dizzily, taking in my surroundings. The ruins stood proud upon the hill up ahead, as 7 large rocks stood in a circle almost cutting me off from the danger outside.
Whistling defund me, my vision becoming blurry as darkness took over me.
........
"My lord, he still hasn't woken. What shall we do?" Faintly, I heard a soft voice. Forcefully, I tried to move. However, my legs weren't budging, or my arms. My eyes glued shut...
"Leave him for now, keep an eye on this foreigner will you..." Was all I heard as my head took me off into complete darkness... was this part of a dream?
........
Finally, I slowly began to open my eyes. The sun's rays making it barely impossible as it blinded me. Cautiously, I began to move, feeling the cold stony floor beneath me, my eyes shot open... This isn't the field I crashed in... Looking at my attire, I realised I was in old but clean rags. Confused, I went to get up...
"Sir, please sit down," A maid must of heard me stir as she came from the other side of the large colourful room.
"Where am I?" I questioned, confusion clearly written on my face.
"You must of really hit your head sir, you are in Carew Castle. My good lord Bang Si-hyuk, he found you by the stones in some weird clothing so we brought you in and tidied you up," she smiled softly as she redressed the wounds I received from the landing.
"Thank you but there is no need," I smiled kindly at her before I suddenly thought, "This might be ridiculous but what year is this?" Shocked she pushed a cold compress upon my head.
"You really did hit your head didn't you! It's currently the year 1440," Looking wide eyed at her my jaw dropped, this is insane! This has to be a dream, pinching myself hard, hoping to wake up from this nightmare. I yelped in pain, "Sir, please don't do that."
Paralyzed by shock and fear, I sat there. Attempting to process what she just told me and what the hell was going on. I'm 500 years in the past... how is that even possible... how did I even get here... I need to go home, the stones must be the key...
An idea finally came to mind.
"Excuse me... could you take me somewhere for some fresh air, that bang to the head has really made me lose my mind," literally... Thinking on it for a moment, she then nodded her head. She then lead me out of the room.
"I'll take you to the back, I believe they're training in the court yard at the moment..." We went down a steep, spiral staircase before reaching the old wooden door. Before opening it, she reached into her large pocket, "What is this?" She asked as she pulled out a small torn photograph.
"That's my family... it's ummm, a painting, yeah a painting," She looked closely at it before handing it to me, her long dark hair hung limp around her slim frame as I thanked her. The sharp pain inflicted my heart as I looked at the battered photo. My eyes began to water at the thought of never seeing them again. Quickly shacking it off, I thought about my next moves. Trying to think clearly, making sure I made no mistakes.
"They wear weird clothes and the artist must be really talented," she said, as she unlocked the door she softly turned to me, "now please dont..." Before she could finish, I launched myself out of the door.
I just want to go home...
Sprinting, my legs began to ache as I clutched onto the photo... wait for me guys, I'll be home soon... A tear ran down my cold face as I entered a forest... I swear this was a marsh... Powering on I kept up my pace, running for what felt like forever... until I came to an opening. The sun hitting my face as I slowed to a walk. Happiness replenished me as I walked towards the circular stones, the sun hung high above me as the lush green trees hide me from the castle above... that's no ruin... I told myself as I collapsed onto the square, flat rock in the center of the circle.
Trying to regain my breath, I began to panic. Nothing was happening... Take me home please!... Nothing. I was still stuck in this strange place. Am I in some kind of coma? A dream maybe? Thoughts plagued my mind trying to look for a logical answer for this mess. But none seemed to be true as with each hit of the stone with my bloodied fists, pain shot up my arms making me realised that this was reality. Tears stung my face, as I became lost in my overwhelming state, little did I know I was being watched from the forest around me....
