I knew Steve was wondering about me being able to go on missions but I know I can handle it for the most part but we would talk about that later.
Right now we were at the tower with the team having drinks and just hanging out. I was sitting next to Steve but I could feel the drinks hitting me and I wanted to sit in his lap but I didn't know if he'd like that.
"Hey honey? Can I sit on your lap please?" I asked.
"Sure doll face". I smiled and sat in his lap.
"You guys are really a great looking couple", said Natasha.
"Thanks Nat". Steve said as he kissed my forehead.
I laid my head against his shoulder and I felt his chest move as he laughed or chuckled. I could fall asleep right now honestly. I felt safe with him.
"Hey sweetheart you ready to go home and we can watch a movie and cuddle as we fall asleep", he said.
I smiled and nodded I was pretty sleepy right now. I saw him smile and I smiled again.
"You guys sicken me", said Tony.
"Oh hush they're in love like we are", said Pepper.
"I know".
"This is just a room all full of romance", said Thor.
"It's okay Thor you'll find someone again".
"We're gonna go home", said Steve as he picked me up.
"I could get used to this you know".
"Oh I bet. But I don't mind doll".
"You're perfect you know that".
"Nonsense you are".
"No way I am perfect.
"I'll prove it to you when we get home then".
"Oh I bet you will".
"You're going to be the death of me doll".
We drove home and he carried me into the house and upstairs to the bed. I got undressed and threw one of his shirts on and he had just sweats on. We curled up in bed and he turned a movie on that he knew I loved, Tangled.
He kissed my forehead and I kissed his cheek. He smiled when I sang along with the songs and I cried when they're were in the boat.
"No need to cry beautiful girl".
"I know I just love this song and scene it's when they realize they love each other".
"Awww sweetheart".
I'm surprised I made it through the movie and we made love before we fell asleep.
