Chapter 5 - Fly Away

Rainbow's POV

"So your going to fix this plane." The man said. "Plane?" I saw no plane in the area.

He pushed away a few vines, and it revealed a small, silver plane. "Woah..." I was truly amazed by what I was seeing in my eyes. "Yes. I flew on this plane coming here, ten years ago. The plane is broken. I tried to fix it but I can't." He said. "Well what makes you think I can fix THAT! I'm not a plane engineer." I say. "Just try, girl." He said, walking off.

I decide to open the small, metallic, plane's door, going inside the plane. I sit where the pilot sits.

I decide to press a green button and every button lights up. What's happening?!? I press another button and the plane starts moving forward.

The Man's POV

I'm just sitting down, thinking about my family. If this girl manages to fix my plane, I can see them again!

I hear noises of an engine and turn around. Their coming from towards where that girl was! I run over to her and the plane takes off, soaring into the sky as fast as a rocket. I couldn't believe my eyes. This girl fixed my plane! I was extremely happy.

But then I start to ask myself, 'Can this girl drive a plane? Will she land ok?' Questions spur through my head. 'What if she crashes again?'

Lunar's POV

Gold and I have been walking down into the left path of the cave for a few hours now. I suddenly hear an engine. It sounded like a plane. Then, rocks started to fall on us. "Gold... rocks are falling on us." I say. "I know that Lunar..." My older sister says.

She gestures for me to follow her and I do. We run deeper into the cave, rocks colliding behind us. Soon, we reach a dead end. Rocks keep falling from the ceiling. "Gold, what do we do?" I ask her. "I don't know..." She says, frightened.

Then one big rock falls in between us, separating us from each other. "GOLD!" I scream. I cover my head as small rocks fall from the ceiling. Then, they stop falling. I take my hands of of my head and look around. I am surrounded on all four sides by rock.

Rainbow's POV

I land the plane safely in the same clearing I took off from. I hop out of the plane to see the man staring at me, in shock. "You fixed the plane!" He yelled, excited. "I'd like to introduce myself. My name is James Smith. I have a wife and two children. I came on a plane flight here to do some research about this island. So now, tell me about yourself."

"Uh, I'm Rainbow. Those people that you cornered earlier are my siblings." I say. "Oh, I'm so sorry... I didn't know that was your family. Anyways, why did you come here?" He asks. "I dunno. We just, arrived here. Myself, I woke up on the shore, lying in the sand. But I don't know about the others." I say.

Funneh's POV

We look around inside the tree house that the eagle was near. There were many pictures, with the exact same people that were in that hut. "I'm guessing this is also that man's place." I say. "Why do you say that?" Draco asks me. "Because the pictures are of the same people in that hut we went to yesterday. He's the same man that cornered you." I say. "Oh."

I hear a loud engine and I look out the window of the tree house. Draco joins me. I see a plane woosh past the tree house. "Did you just see what I saw?" Draco asks. "Yup. There's a pink haired girl driving that plane! It must be Rainbow!" I exclaim. "Yeah!" Draco agrees. "I didn't know Rainbow could fly planes." "Me either." I stare up into the darkening sky.
