I was skateboarding down the street to the neighborhood park, when I saw her sitting in the same tree, reading the same book.
"Have you not finished that by now?" I yell up at her.
"I have finished it..3 times." she yells back down, not looking up from the book.
"Then why don't you try a new one" I honestly don't care about her reading the same book, I just want to talk to her.
"Why don't you try to actually read one, Mendes?" she still doesn't look up.
"I would rather wait for the movie, Montez."
She just chuckles and keeps reading. She never. stops. reading.
"Well I hope your fall break is great, Gab."
"You too, Shawn." She finally looks up. She looks up and smiles at me.
I get back on my skateboard and start to head to Aaron's house. I glance back at her and she's writing something now. I can't help but wonder what it is, but hey atleast she's not reading.
authors note: I haven't decided if I am going to actually turn this into a book or not. This was kind of just a random idea I wanted to write down and see if anybody would be interested in this turning into something? if you would read it please comment. and btw I know that this is just a conversation but I have a plan for something so yea 😁 well bye guys!
