After Valerie's funeral we drove back to the motel in silence. Kylee had taken Cadence with her to go live with her brother Anthony and his family for a while. It would be good for Cadence to be with her.

Jordan drove with Tilly in the Passenger seat. Damon and I sat in the back with my head on his shoulder. I could see Jordan reach for Tilly's hand. I smiled at the sight knowing that Jordan was good for Tilly at this time. I could tell that he cared for her. I even think it was the first time I had seen Tilly smile in awhile. When we finally arrived Damon opened my door for me and held my hand to help me out. He held my waist close to his as we walked together back to the rooms

We got two rooms next to each other that were conjoined together with a door that we just left open. Tilly and I shared one room and Damon and Jordan shared the other.

Jordan was still unaware that Damon was working with the gang in the beginning. Damon proved his loyalty when he found us after our mother had left her "marks" on Jordan and I. I knew though that if Jordan found out about Damon he wouldn't see it that way.

The second Tilly and I went to our room I went into the bathroom to get changed into some more comfortable clothes. I looked in the mirror at my tear stained cheeks and washed them of with no emotion. I had no more tears left to cry. I didn't want Tilly to see me like this. Valerie was just as much her mother than mine, but I had to be strong for her. I didn't think it would hit me as hard as it did considering the amount of deaths I've experienced, but this one was different.

When I exited the bathroom I saw Tilly with her head in her hands crying on the bed. Without saying a word I sat down next to her and wrapped my arms around her. I held her close and let her cry into my chest. I cried too even though I promised myself that I wouldn't cry anymore.

She fell asleep on my lap and I slowly got up and lied her down against the pillows, I pulled off her heels and rested a blanket over her tired body.

I was getting tired myself so I walked into the boys room to say goodnight. I walked over to Jordan who I could tell was holding back tears. I pulled him into my embrace felt a tear land on my shoulder.

"Goodnight Jor,"
I said.

"Night Kins."
He said, sadly pulling back and wiped his tears.
I then walked over to Damon who had just walked out of the bathroom in a t-shirt and sweatpants. He pulled me into his arms and wiped my tears with the pad of his thumb.

"Goodnight mi amore."
He said kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight."
I replied.

He was much taller than me a leaned down next to my ear and whispered.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
I said looking into his green eyes.

"You guys are gross."
Chuckled Jordan in the background.

"Oh shush."
I giggled, walking back into my room.

I lied down on other bed in the room, covering myself with blankets. Just the thought of Valerie crossed my mind and next thing I know I'm literally crying myself to sleep.

I heard footsteps walk into the room, I was startled at first but then realised it was only Damen. I was half asleep when I felt Damon's arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer to him. I could feel his snuggling his head into the crook of my neck and fell asleep in his arms.

I woke up heaven knows how many hours later. The light was shining through the window and Tilly was still asleep. I rolled over and to my suprise, Damon wasn't there, But instead I could hear Jordans voice yelling.

"YOU DID WHAT!"
I heard him shout from the other room over. I assumed Jordan now knows of Damon's previous actions.
"I HAD TOO JORDAN, YOU KNOW HOW IT IS IN THE GANG, I HAD NO CHOICE."
Damon yell.

I groaned as I mustered up enough energy to leave my bed. I knew if they were to actually fight Jordan would lose because he's a midget compared to Damon.

I heard a crashing of glass against the wall. I was now alert and ran into their room.

"DON'T EVER TOUCH MY SISTER AGAIN!"
Jordan said.

I ran into their room to see Jordan throwing everything in sight at Damon's head. He dodged every object.

"Ok what the hell is going on here?"
I said and there heads both turn to face me.

"Oh come on Kinsey how can you even look at him after what he did to us."
Jordan said angrily. He looked right through me his eyes full of rage, I flinched at the sound of his voice getting higher.

"Jordan it w-wasn't like that. He never told Xander where we were, Xander did a fine job of that on his own. He saved us from our mother remember?"
I yelled.

"I don't care."
Jordan said. Picking up a vase and aiming again at Damon.

"Don't do it Jordan!"
I yelled.

He threw back his arm and through the vase at Damon. I jump in front of Damon before it could reach him. I felt a sharp pain in my temple, My vision blurred as I heard Damon call out my name. I fell back into Damon's arms and all went black.
