Champion Rose (Rwby fanfic) **UP FOR ADOPTION**

Ch.1

Ruby's POV:
I put on my hood to stay hidden from paparazzi and walk inside Dust till Dawn. I head over to the weapon magazines and read them while listening to music. Suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Yes?" I ask slightly annoyed.

"Put your hands up where I can see them!"is the response I got.

"Are you robbing me?"

"Yes!"

"Huh" I thought. Proceeding to tackle him through my window. My hood falls off and the robbers see my face.

"Well well, ain't it THE Ruby Rose aka Champion Rose?" Now identified Roman Torchwick exclaims.

"What are you waiting for? Get her!" He yells at the henchmen in impatience. After a few seconds of hesitation they follow the order. Surrounding me they get ready their weapons. In the span of few seconds they're all found unconscious. Surprised Roman Torchwick processes what just happened.

"Tch... Worth every cent, truly were" Roman said voice dripping with sarcasm. He raises the cane at me and shoots some type of flare. I jump over it. In the explosion Roman escapes.

"You okay old man?" Receiving a nod in response. Looking around I see Roman climbing a ladder. When Roman turns around he jumps when he sees me suddenly appear.

"Persistent" Roman mumbles. Walking backwards he falls of the roof only to be caught by an airship. He looks down at me, throws a red dust crystal, and points his cane.

"Bye bye Rose" he shoots. I shield myself waiting for the pain, but it doesn't come. Looking up I see a huntress.

Time skip...

"Rose, do you know how much danger you could've caused?" the huntress named Glynda Goodwitch lectured.

"Barely any" I shot back. "There was no one near by other than the shopkeeper which I checked on. You could've caused a lot more damaged than the broken window I caused. I mean you shot shards out of the sky." Looking momentarily stun she looks at me. She sighs and gives up trying to lecture me.

"Someone is here to see you" Glynda informs. Just as she said that the window opens and a man walks in with cookies.

"Ruby Rose aka Champion Rose the Vale Champion. You... have silver eyes." He says.

"And you have brown. What's your point?"

"Oh nothing. I was wondering if you'd like to go to my school." He places the cookies down. I glance at the cookies.

"I'm not allowed to have those they're unhealthy. What do you mean your school? Plus you'd have to talk to my manager." I question.

"I already did I just need your permission. And I'm Professor Ozpin. Nice to meet you."

"Hi and sure I'll go." I say with a shrug.

Time skip...

Getting scooped up into a bear hug my sister screeches in my ear "I can't believe my baby sister is coming to beacon with me!!" I pry myself of and look at her. Pulling my hood on my head I mutter.

"I just hope I make friends."

Time skip...

I accidentally knock over some girls luggage causing my hood to fall off. I hear a gasp behind me and I see Weiss Schnee looking at me. She straightens up and offers me a hand.

"Hi I'm Weiss Schnee, heiress to Schnee Dust Company. Nice to meet you." Someone from behind her speaks up.

"The same company known for it's abuse on Faunus and shady deals" Looking offended Weiss responds back. Taking this chance I walk away. A few minutes later I bump into a blond haired boy.

"Oh hello. Jaune short, sweet, and rolls of the tongue. Ladies love it!"

"Do they?" I deadpan.

"They will!" he responds.

"Oh I never got your name." he ask which genuinely surprises me. "Does he not know who I am?"

"Ruby. Ruby Rose. Nice to meet you. Anyway we should be heading to auditorium." I say walking away and heading to the auditorium. Inside I see a familiar red ponytail. Silently sneaking up on Pyrrha I hug her from behind. I  bury my face in her neck and mumble.

"Long time no see, Pyrrha." I let go and face her with a bright smile receiving a kind smile in return. "How's my favorite rival doing?"

"I'm your only rival unless you have another. And I'm doing great." As she says that the mic turns on getting everyone's attention.

Time skip...

I'm currently getting swarmed with fans slowly getting overwhelmed. Suddenly I feel a big pull dragging me into a room. I look up and I see Weiss with a scowl.

"What do you think your doing going out there? You're gonna get hurt." her face softens a bit.

"I just wanted to sleep" I respond with a sigh.

"You should know better that as soon as your recognized, you won't be going anywhere."

"Well what am I suppose to do?" She looks at me for a second then proceeds to full my hood up and drags me out. Keeping my head down and let her drag me somewhere. When I look up I see I'm in the corner of the sleeping hall with no one noticing me. Looking to the right I see Weiss sitting there looking away with a small blush. I smile slightly and mumble a small "thank you" As I fall asleep.
