Chapter Six

Lloyd's Pov 

I had won. I didn't want to have to harm my old friends... but if they were what was stopping me from becoming the most powerful person in all of Ninjago than that is what I would do. "Sir, there is no sign of life forms on the ship" One of my soldiers informed me. I felt a pang of guilt in chest. 'Ignore that feeling, if father finds out you'll never hear the end of it.' I reminded myself. I nodded. "Perfect" I smirked as I walked off, my titan following. 'This will be the last time I come to talk to you, I forgave you for... cutting my life short. But then you go and do the same to the rest of your brothers?!' Jay exclaimed. I could hear the pain in his voice, I rolled my eyes. 'They aren't my brothers anymore' I answered. Jay was silent, I didn't know if he had left, or was just choosing to be quiet. 'That's where you're wrong' Jay said. That was the last time he ever spoke to me.

Skylor's Pov

I had so much respect for Nya now. I knew how she was feeling, ultimate grief. Kai and I weren't officially dating. But I still couldn't believe he was gone. All three of us had lost someone we loved. We had to continue with the plan, we had to avenge the ninja. We still had the dart, Harumi was in charge of that now that Zane was gone. Nya and I had to cover not only our original duties but now three more. We had no more time to feel sorry for ourselves. "Sky? Is it all clear?" Rumi asked over the intercom. I was still new to the "team" and so I was borrowing Kai's gear... since he might never need them again. I felt my throat choke up. "Y-Yes, we're departing now" I croaked. Nya quickly started the engine on our truck. 'It's now or never' I thought nervously.

Harumi's Pov

Nya and Skylor were driving straight into the belly of the beast. I was perched on top of a nearby building, ready to take my shot. I was pretty decent with a bow... I wasn't as good as Zane, but I definitely thought I could do this. I didn't have a choice, all of Ninjago depended on this. I took a deep breath. "Target is following us, repeat Target is coming down 4th avenue" Nya said over the intercom. I took a deep breath. 'It's time' I thought as I lined my crossbow up. I watched as our truck drove pass, with Lloyd riding the giant titan thing. I couldn't help but hide a smile. I lined up and pulled the trigger. I watched as the dart embedded itself into Lloyd's chest. This was the moment of truth.

Lloyd's Pov

I felt a stinging in my chest, I had been shot. I looked down and saw a dart sticking out from my chest. I smirked as my eyes met Rumi's, I ripped the dart out and tossed it to the ground. 'Did she really think that a little dart would make a difference?!' I thought as I laughed. This was too easy. I turned the titan away from the other two. "This will be fun" I thought aloud. Harumi quickly stood up from her place on top of a local business tower. She pulled forth the mask of hatred and started wielding its powers. I wasn't worried, even though she sorta almost kinda defeated me... she just got lucky. I vaulted off of the titan and landed on the building beside her. "Well I see you haven't come to your senses" She said, her voice dark and broken. I smirked, my new favorite expression. "And I see you haven't come to yours" I replied snarkily as I sent a dark blast towards her. She easily dodged, which was impressive. "You've grown... stronger" I complimented snarkily. "Can't say you've done the same" She smirked. That really chapped my hide. "We'll see about that" I growled as I tackled her. I had to put all my feelings aside, I would deal with those later. We continued to spar, neither of us landing a decent blow. I finally pinned her to the ground. "You should give up now... before someone gets hurt" I said holding my blade towards her throat. "Don't you remember?" She asked, her voice soft as the summer rain. "You've already hurt plenty" She sneered as she pushed me over trading our places. This was a new side of her... she wasn't the Princess of Ninjago, and she wasn't the quiet one... she was, Harumi.

Nya's Pov

Skylor and I were trying to fend off the rest of Lloyd's army. He had this way of recruiting people, he could always convince you to join him. I used to think of it as a pro... now it's a con. The soldiers seemed to get stronger every time we saw them. 'I wonder what Lloyd's training methods are...' I thought curiously. I wasn't paying attention and let Ultra Violet slip past, towards Harumi. I quickly sent a glance to Skylor before chasing after her. "Nya... ah.. Be careful!" Harumi said through the intercom. I wasn't worried about her, I was worried for me. "Well well they sent the water lily" Ultra Violet said turning around, the mask of deception in her hand. That name, that is what Jay used to call me. "You don't get to call me that" I growled as I sent a blast over water towards her. She quickly dodged, this was going to be a long match.
