Writing Prompt: OTP prompt "Please hold me" has to be included.
The girl huddled on the mattress shook. She began to cconvulse, and a shrill scream ripped through the night. Nobody came to her room. Looking at her face as I moved, I noticed light glinting off her cheeks. This raised a question in me....was this small girl crying? Bolting up, I watched her roll over and grab what looked like a piece of led. Slowly, I moved around the walls. She grabbed her magic box and light illuminated the room wherever she pointed it. Slowly inching closer to get a better look, while not becoming injured by the light, I noticed what she was doing. She had pointed her magic box at her leg and was scratching with the led. That's when I realized it was a sewing needle. Startled, I squeaked. She was sobbing. Salt seeped into her self inflicted wounds. She began to shake. More tears dripped down her face. All of a sudden, they stopped. Rising from her bed, and walking into the hall, she was careful not to make any noise. I creeped down the hall behind her feet. Grabbing a bizzare contraption, she headed back to her room. Cautiously, curiously, and painstakingly slow, slipping under her door. The strange contraption moved back and forth on her leg. "Please hold me....someone....anyone.....I want....." *hic* "to" *sniff* "stop". Struck by her outcry of pain, I snuck over behind the broken girl.
