Like father, like daughter. Part 1

I slammed the door, with only a blank expression. Looked backed waiting patiently to see my parents fighting.Shocked, Frightened.. I just couldn't explain it. My head had turned to see a monster.. A dad. Before I could think, a bottle smash was heard... blood was spilled, my mom was dead."..." No words were said; until my father slowly span round to look at me, a small grin sprouted from his filthy face.."Ah? You're back I see!" He said grin still spread round his face. Wow, that was amazing.. He just killed his own wife and acts so innocent? If I didn't see it I would believe him. He continued talking: "It's not like my own FLESH and blood would call the police?"

"You..You just, oh my god.." I murmured He chuckled.. "Oh, Shelby, I did this for you.. Don't you see?" Me? What does he mean ME!? I didn't do anything... did I? He started to wobble.. Slowly but surely coming towards me, I could feel my heart race.. My mouth dry... what could i do at this point? I'm going to die... no point trying. Wait... what about my pocket knife? I had it in case of emergency.. I'm guessing this is one. I quickly dipped my hand in my pocket feeling all around. 'Ow!' I thought as something sliced a bit of my finger.. 'Nevermind that! There's still a monster struggling to get me!' i thought lifelessly. "Ah!" I shouted ignoring the fact he could hear me...

"Oh?.. found something exciting?" He whispered, "what is it? 'Darling'" Scared, i took out my knife and slowly breathed. "You're going to kill me?!"He chuckled, like he would never stop..

This was my chance! He was so oblivious that i still had the pocket knife. I had to do it, while he was still laughing his head off. I took my chance and ran, sweating endlessly thinking of the police arriving at the door. I tried to stab him, digging deep into his chest... i don't know what in the world came over me... but, i felt powerful! Like i could do anything. Knock Knock the police? BUT HOW? Who?... I slowly stepped to the door, dangit!.. If only i never opened that door..but oh.. That doesn't matter Now.

The door creaked as i forgot the blood stains on my shirt. "Hello?" a strange man said. "Do you know somebody called Jesse Croog?" but that was MY  last name! How did he know it?! "Uhm, my name is Shelby Croog.. Are you talking about my, uh... father?" I bit my lip, trembling at the sight of this tall man. "He has a daughter?.." he grinned "do you take after him?" I finally realised what i had done.. My father killed my mother... and I killed him! I looked down biting my lip harder embarrassed and answered him.. "No..." he looked down on me, disapprovingly "really now? Where's your father?" "Did he cook hot dogs with ketchup?" My shirt! How stupid am I? I looked at my shirt then glared at him, tears were slowly filling my eyes. "No!.." I whispered quite boldly "No, I don't take after him!"he started to stare, deep into my soul. I wanted to cry, but not make it obvious.he towered over me, "where can I find him?" he hissed. "Gee, you wouldn't believe what he does for me, and his family." 'He did something for me?' I thought fearfully. "What exactly did HE do?" I snapped "Ah, rude are you? Well, if you don't take after him.. Why should you know?"he grinned I glared at him angrily. "I demand to know!" I bellowed maybe the neighbours heard. He chuckled slowly, I was quite scared; why would he laugh? I didn't say a joke! "So you DO  take after him? He used to shout like that." he laughed louder than before. "..." Damnit! But I take after him?.. "Anyway, let me see him." He continued,"I demand it!" he spat resentlessly. I obviously shook my head. He pushed me roughly onto the floor as he trodded inside. "... you killed them both?.." he muttered. "EXCUSE ME! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!" a voice screamed behind me. It continued. "Me and my cousin heard this rukus and wondered if somebody died!" She hissed. The man kneeled down next to me, "Did you kill him?"he whispered to me. I slowly nodded.
