Rochelle Pov

~Flashback~

June 30,2005

"Rochelle,Rochelle get up get up," my little sister Raven said as she constantly shook my leg. "What, what do you want" I said with my eyes still half closed. "They killed momma Ro we need to hide before they get us too." She sobbed. Without thinking I grabbed her hand and ran straight to my closet and locked us in. I silently cried as I heard the voice of two men whispering. "They have to be in here Dave, Reena said they should be." One of the men whispered, "Well Bryan they're not." The other huffed. I looked over to see Raven with her hands over her mouth and she looked shocked."What," I mouthed to her. She shook her head and her curls began to bounce everywhere. "It's Daddy," she said but this time it was loud enough for the men to hear. "They're in there," one of the men who I could indentify his voice to be my dad's voice say. Before I could do anything my closet door was busted down and everything went black....

~Two days later~

Rochelle Pov

I looked around and took in my surroundings. I was in a pitch black room with only my underwear, a necklace my mommy gave me, and a too small t-shirt on, I looked over to see Raven in the same thing. For the past two days we've been held hostage in my dads house or shack. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I couldn't believe my mommy was gone and all I have left was Raven.

Authors pov

As time went on Raven and Rochelle fell asleep but was soon awaken by the sounds of sirens,gun shoots, and what sound like arguing.

It went on for what seem like hours but they were to scared to do anything. Until the door to the room was kicked down.

Raven pov

I clutched onto Ro as two big police officers came into the room and tried to move me and Rochelle apart. "Let go," The officer said as he continued pulling me apart from Rochelle. I held on tighter she was the only thing I had left I couldnt lose her. "Just let go Raven," my sister whispered to me. I looked up in her eyes to see that she was crying. I did as told but before I was to far she threw the necklace to me. "If we never see each other again keep this it will be a memory of us." She said crying I did as told and threw her my necklace that I had on. She took it and put it around her neck and I did the same. "Let's go," the man said but this time he sounded a little softer. With that said we walked out the room.

Rochelle pov

"C'mon kid let's go," the other officer said to me as he yanked me up off the ground. I was still crying and couldn't believe this was all happening. I lost my mommy and my sister in the matter of three days. Why me.
