Bitten by Him

Short story

Alucard walked down the dimly lit hallways of his castle. He knew Trever would be home soon  it had been so long sense he has seen his lover. Trever had been off hunting the elusive Hanzo and the demon inside him.
A loud bang came from the front door. A bang that didn't sound like Trever. Alucard sniffed the air wondering if sonething was wrong. Smelling trever he thought maybe he has a rough mission, but wait, there was another scent in the air, someone or sonething else had entered the castle with the hunter. Alucard quickly used his vampire abilities. He moved faster than an eye could follow, arriving at the front door before his undated guest entered the large mud room.
"Who the fuck are you?" Alucard said standing his ground. No one was entering his home without his permission and for sure no one was faking his ducking castle from him.
"Well well well if it isn't the vampire turned pet" said a figure in the shadows. "And here I thought this wouldn't be fun"
"Show yourself you coward!" Alucard demanded.
"If you say so." Hanzo stepped out of the shadows. A red flame seemed to emanate from his body. His eyes a blood red, his sward bent and broken in many places. "Well now you see me."
"Where is Trever?" Alucard said walking closer to Hanzo. "If you have done sonething to him I will make you pay for it, with your pathetic life!"
"I haven't hurt your little human pet, don't worry." Hanzo said "But I believe we can come to an understanding. You know one monster to another."
"I am not a monster!" Alucard protested. "The only monster here is you!"
"Is that what Trever tells you?" Hanzo provoked, "he never told you how he result feels did he?"
"What do you mean?" Alucard looked at Trever, who by now was laying on the ground by Hanzo's feet, "what is he talking about Trever?"
"Tell him what you told me Belmont," Hanzo picked up the demon hunter and threw him at Alucard's feet. "Tell your lover what you really think of him, what you know he is!" Trever coughed and looked up at Alucard.
"I think your a vampire." Trever struggled to get the words out. "And I think that your also a person."
"You fool!" Hanzo screamed. "He is the enemy! He is the monster. You dedicated your life to hunting monsters, but you go home to one every night!"
"Alucard is not a monster. He is not defined by the actions of his father." Trever said weakly. "I know who you are....." Trver said as he grew weaker by the minute "your a kind person, caring... You... Would.... Never... Hurt me." He struggled to say.
"My duty is to protect the people of this country." Alucard said "to stand up for those who can't, it fight for those who have forgotten their warrior pasts or never had one. My duty is to ensure peace and justice are the main priorities of this country and its people. That is what I am. That is who I am." Before alucard could do anything the demon inside hanzo launched at him dealing damage to the vampire with his claws. Alucard countered with his own, calling upon his sward to protect him. He moved at inhuman speeds dodging all the attacks hanzo dealt. Calling the demon back inside his body hanzo snarled.
"Well played vampire well played. but you won't kill me, not today." He smiled looking ag Trver who was now closer to him than Alucard. "What will the vampire do? Kill his enemy or save his lover" Hanzo took his sward and stabbed Trever Jan the stomach. "Clock is ticking Alu." Cackling the half human half demon started circling the room. "Time to choose vampire, what will you do?" Alucard raced to Trevor's side grabbing him and holding him close to his chest.
"Ive got you baby," he said pulling the man closer. "Its going to be ok, just hang in there."
"Chooses the human, what a disappointment" hanzo said starting to turn into black smoke, "yet so predictable" with that he disappeared completely leaving the vampire with Trever Jan the foray.
"You....should...have gone (cough) after him" Trever said weekly.
"I can't let you die!" Alucard cried. "I don't know what I would become if I ever lost you." Alucard held his lover close.
"Then make sure you never do." Trever said looking up at his lover. "Make me like you. So I never have to worry about leaving you behind ever again" alucard hesitated then slowly leaned in his eyes started to glow red, he opened his mouth revealing his needle sharp fangs. Hesitating before sinking them into fever's neck.

Trever thought the feeling was odd but not painful, he was expecting pain beyond his wildest dreams instead he felt safe in the arms of his love. He looked down to see Alucard closing his eyes allowing his abilities to kick in. At this point Trver felt some bring coming from his neck. Must be the venom alucard mentioned was in vampire saliva.

Sllowly Alucard released Trver from his grip looking up at his lover questioning why the had just done. Trver smiled "thank You. I think..."
"Are you ok?" Alucard asked worriedly.
"Ya, I think so." Trver looked down seeing his wound starting to heal. "Does this ever get old?" He asked gesturing to his healing wound.
"No," Alucard said laughing, "but in time you might be able to control when you heal"
"Hey Alu," Trver said moving Alucard's hair out of his face.
"What?"
"I love you"
Alucard reached up hissing Trever and pulling him close. "Let me taste you one more time before your blood runs dry"
"I....I guess" Trever said reaching around to pull his lover closer. This time Alucard's fangs hurt more than the first time. This time alucard bit with hunger and passion.

Trever was slightly taken back by this, cough off guard he pushed Alucard back stopping him.
"Im sorry." Alucard said looking down, "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"No it just took me by surprise" Trever said pulling his lover closer, "I don't mind the pain." Alucard and Trver spent the rest of the night in the castle warped in each other's love. Hunting Hanzo could wait till another day. Today was about them and their love for each other.
