It has been an eternity
Since the light covered my eyes
And the sound covered my ears
There's light coming out of the cracks
Deep cuts emitting photons
Scattered in the Universe
Timeless, massless
Going far away
As they drip and never look back
It's bitter and cold
Absurd and sweet
Painful and dull
The ground below my feet
Standing still
As I fade away in the quantum foam
