Summary:
Vila is a simple colony world on the edge of civilian-accessible space in the Human Republic. Life for the average citizen on the planet is mild, save the occasional terrorist attack. With only one major city on the entire earth-like planet, most citizens spend their days cultivating crops for the Republic and moping about so-called fascist rule.
Speaking of terrorists, Vila used to be a major battleground. Terrorists and the military once duked it out on the rolling plains and craggy mountains of the planet, but have since subsided. With this decrease in activity, the Republic has seen fit to cut its presence on the planet considerably, opening up a wide variety of options for SAP, the largest terrorist organization the galaxy knows. But this is the least of Vila's problem. With this major slash in military presence comes a brand new threat, the Yanto. Lead by Fleetlord Garak, the Yanto come with the intention of expanding their empire, be it by peaceful annexation or a violent takeover. With no chance of reinforcements, the survival of the population of Vila is in the hands of a handful of soldiers. Follow Sergeant Lucas Holland and a somewhat unlikely few others as they fight ferociously to save as many people as possible.
Both sides here have something large to lose. For Lucas and the others, it's the lives of several million. For Fleetlord Garak and his men, it's honor. They would rather lose their lives than forfeit their honor, and their lineage at the same time.
