Wait!!

Ola spun around fiercely. What else could these two boys want?! She opened her mouth to shout something rude when...

"We're sorry," Danny said softly as he cautiously edged towards her...

"Whattttttttt???"

He glanced back at Paul, who was standing further away from her,

"We didn't mean to upset you... Actually we only laughed because we love that name, and we've never met anybody called it before..."

Ola snorted. Did they actually think she was dumb enough to fall for that?!

Paul sighed at her reaction, and then pulled something out of his pocket and walked towards her. He handed it to her...

"A selfie?!" Ola practically screamed.

Ola POV:

Was this some kind of joke? Did they really think by handing me a photo of themselves suddenly everything was OKAY?! Were they really that vain?!

I felt the tears well up again. I didn't even know why these boys upset me so much. Of course they had to be like this; they were gorgeous. And every gorgeous boy in the whole world, according to me anyway, was vain, mean, and they ALWAYS fancied the bad girls. The school sl*ts, willing to do everything and anything for anyone.

I sighed sadly; maybe I'd hoped I would finally meet a decent guy.

"It's not just a selfie, Ola, calm down!!" Paul's voice interrupted Ola's thoughts as he stared at her with interest and curiosity. He touched her face. "You don't have much confidence, do you?" He whispered in her ear and she blushed and backed away. Had that really just happened?!

Danny coughed.

"Anyway...."

"Oh yeah," Ola was sure Paul reddened slightly as he carried on "Um, see that stuffed tiger there?"

She nodded. It was the first time she'd actually noticed it in the picture, it hadn't seemed very important until Paul pointed it out.

"Check the name tag on it" Danny grinned

Y-O-L-A-N-D-A...

So they had been telling the truth... Now it was Ola's turn to redden, she's been so judging of these boys, too much so, and now it seemed that they were genuinely nice guys, who just wanted to be her friend. Now she doubted they'd ever talked to her again...

"I'm so sorry," Ola cringed " please don't hate me..."

She stared pleadedly at Danny who winked,

"Why would we ever hate you?" He smiled as the school bell rang. Paul muttered something about Maths and ran off quickly after a brief smile at Ola, and slightly panicked look at Danny which obviously said "I'm so freaking bad at maths"

Danny grinned and stared at Ola who was still blushing.

He grabbed her and pulled her into a bear hug; then let go just as quickly

"See ya round tiger" ;)

Then he disappeared into the crowd of people, leaving Ola standing there, unable to think.
