The Bump-in

As a child, I always thought keeping my mouth shut and hiding was the one way to survive throughout my lifetime. Now, here I am, 10 years later, about to take my first step into my first actual high school experience. 1st year- I always thought my father would just homeschool me this year, but my dream is to one day become a pro-hero like him, and he doesn't have the time to help me through this chapter, considering he is a full-time pro-hero.

Before I take this any further, my name is (Y/N), I'm 15 years old, and I'm about to be known as a 1st year at UA, the #1 ranked high school for heroics. I got in based off of recommendation, considering my father is a pro-hero after all . Granted, he isn't my real father, I still treat him as if he is, because he was the one who treated me as if I was his very own ever since he took me in as a foster child. When I was 5, a tragic incident occurred at my previous household, which is when I met none other than Death Arms, my foster-dad, and once I reached the hospital, he introduced me to one of his sidekicks, Imani, who took care of my wounds and cared for me as if I was her top priority. Now, here I am, in his loving care inside of a home I never thought I would ever step foot in.

Once I met him, he gave me anything and everything I asked for, sometimes he would bring home items for me that never even crossed my mind.

But anyways, back to the main story now.

The minute I got to school I already felt out of place. My (Y/H/C)- colored hair was flying all over the place and my skirt was a little too showy (if ya know what I mean). I was getting looks left and right, mainly from the guys, as well as wolf-whistles, and cat calls. I immediately put my head down, as I could feel my cheeks begin to turn red. Without really watching where I was walking, I ran into someone, which made me fall on my own butt.

"I'm s-so sor-sorry!" I frantically pleaded.

"It's fine, really. Don't worry about it. Are you alright though?" Said the random boy.

'Woah he's got a hot voice for someone my age' I thought and immediately blushed after I realized what I said.

"H-hello?" Said the boy again, grabbing my attention.

"Oh y-yes! I'm fine, I just wasn't fully watching where I was going." I replied as he reached his hand down to help me up.

I hesitantly accepted his help and grabbed it, which is when I decided to finally look up and see him. 'Holy crap' I said inside my mind, or so I thought.

"What? Are you hurt?" He asked. Oh my gosh, I just said that out loud, I'm so stupid.

"No, I'm fine! Really!"

He just gave me a small smile which made my heart pound and I don't even know why. He had two different colored eyes- grey colored on the right and a beautiful crystallized blue on the left, he also had a split-hair style too- with his right side being pure white and his left being a bright, burning red. His face was perfectly set in place, with a strong jaw-line, and his smile was the cutest thing I've seen in awhile. He looked thin, for as far as I could tell, considering he was wearing the school's uniform, which was plain dark blue slacks and a grey overcoat with blue stripes along small parts of it such as the collar and the ends of the sleeves, and to end it off with a red tie. Once I got up, I realized just how tall he was, which intimidated me more than ever, but he was still smiling, not showing his teeth, but it helped settle my mood.

To make things less awkward, I smiled back just like him, and I saw his cheeks pink-up, which made mine do the same.

"My name's (F/N)(L/N), what's yours?" I asked to ease the tensity of the situation.
