"Hey Alice do you have any peanut butter?" Hailey asks digging through my drawers for a spoon I suppose to eat my beloved peanut butter with. After school I drove Hailey over to my house for much needed girl time I don't know if I would be able to spend the night alone with Isaac and since my mom works late. So currently we are both wearing comfy Pyjamas and digging through my kitchen to put together snacks for our movie marathon even though it's only 4 in the evening. Isaac decided he wanted to see if he could still get a spot on the football team even though try outs were last month.
"Yeah in the corner over there" I wave my hand in the general direction. "Hey Hailey I was thinking since it's our senior year and all we should do something to make it memorable" I suggest nonchalantly.
"Like what? trash the school, show up in our underwear, ooh I got one paint the principals office completely blue" she starts mentally forming the perfect way to do it, I can tell by the look of concentration on her face.
"What! no I was thinking more of make a photo album, maybe get some of those insta develop cameras and give them to all our friends so we can capture the year and then make memory books at the end of the year." I say.
"Yeah I think that would be a great idea why don't we pick some up tomorrow?"she suggests excitedly. Grabbing the bowls of popcorn she makes her way in to the living room, I follow snagging the peanut butter and an extra spoon. plopping down on the couch Hailey puts on the first movie "the notebook" now don't get me wrong I do love the hobbit and all the marvel movies but that doesn't mean I hate sappy cry your heart out movies.
Two more movies and a box of tissues later Isaac comes busting in on us watching the fault in our stars, as soon as he sees our faces his smile dies.
"Are you ok?" he asks seriously rushing to my side pulling me into a hug. "what's wrong?" he asks against my hair.
"H-he died" I sob out
"What?!" he shouts alarmed
"Who died?" he inquires confused.
Unable to get the words out I point to the screen, soon realization dawns on Isaac and he jumps up, "are you kidding me your crying this hard over the damn movie? here I thought the world was ending, you guys are ridiculous" he states stomping out of the room.
Me and Hailey burst out laughing watching him stalk into the kitchen.
20 minutes later we run out if popcorn so I get up and make some more only to find Isaac leaning against the counter eating a sandwich.
"Hey" I say awkwardly getting a raised eyebrow as a reply. popping another pack of popcorn into the microwave I turn around to see Isaac still staring at me.
"Ok I'm sorry for scaring you by crying" I say finally
"Scare me? pfft" he scoffs "you didn't scare me" he says crossing his arms
"Oh really you totally freaked out when you saw me crying"
"You weren't just crying you put Niagara Falls to shame with the amount of water coming out of you" he states
"It's alright it was sweet that you cared" I tease
"Ya well I'm not a jerk contrary to what people may think" he says then stalks out the room.
"Wow what took you so long?" Hailey asks when I come back
"Oh nothing" I reply. We spend the rest of the night watching action movies and drift off to sleep.

I wake up to crumbs dribbling onto my face. when I open my eyes I'm face to face with Isaac eating toast over me.
"Urgh!" I grumble rolling away from him but I forget I'm laying on the couch and since he is leaning over the back the opposite direction from him is the floor. Urgh why is it when ever he wakes me up I end up on the floor? I sit up to see Isaac laughing so hard nothing is coming out and he is just banging the couch like a demented seal.
"So not funny, where is Hailey?" I ask realizing that she isn't in the room.
"Oh she went to take a shower and told me to wake you up, something about going out camera shopping?" he relays confused. Then it comes back our plan to make memory books with insta develop cameras. I jump up and get dressed in record time rushing downstairs to meet Hailey and Isaac at the door.
"What are you doing here?" I ask skeptically
"I'm coming with you" he replies
"What? really I would have thought you would have something better to do?"
"Like what?"
"I don't know your pretty popular at school already don't you have any buddies to hang out with?"
"Nah there's this party party next weekend though" he replies jumping in the back seat since Hailey called shot gun.
After a short silent ride to the store we decide to split up and see who can find the cameras first. thinking that they would be by all the electronics I head on that direction since Isaac never been to this store it gives me advantage, or so I thought. turning into the aisle labeled cameras and phones I see Isaac flirting it up with the worker. Feeling annoyed for some unknown reason I stomp over grab the cameras and stomp away only stoping on the way to the check out to grab Hailey, who for some reason ended up in the clothing section.
When Isaac finally meets us in he car he flaunts the number he scores off the girl all the way home.
