A sickening crunch of bone... The splatter of fresh blood.. The subtle creak of floor boards as they drew closer to her hiding spot..

It was all she heard, and it took all of her to withhold the sobs and not make a peep. However, that restraint was thrown out the window as soon as the closet door was practically ripped from it's hinges, a scream ripping from her throat as a result. A snarl of laughter met her ears as the Nun of the orphanage saw the horrified look on the girl's face. Blood ran down the nun's chin and throat, the blood of her recent victims still clung to the air and pooled around her feet as well. "Come here, Girl. It's your turn."She said, teeth bared in a grin as she reached for her, the white haired girl curled tighter and tried to disappear into the corner. Before the nun could grab her, the click of a gun and soon the deafening shot drew the nun's attention away and the girl watched as the nun was knocked into the wall, gritting her teeth in pain, "Why you-"She was cut off as her head was blown off. the white haired female began to cry, a new sense of fear bubbling in her. She wasn't sure if she was being rescued or being met with a new threat.

That's when her own eyes, a soft violet, met his.. An all too serene shade of blue. He smiled softly and held out a hand, "Ma fille, pas de peur, je suis là pour t'aider.." She blinked at the sudden spew of french and it took her a moment to fully comprehend what he said before she slowly moved toward him. "Je suis Gabriel."He introduced and bowed down on one knee, causing her to blush. It almost made her feel like a princess being shown such a gesture. "Et vous êtes, ma chérie?" he asked, and she curtsied, "Je suis Arabella."she introduced, and he smiled broadly.

"Arabella, après ce que cette méchante nonne a fait. Voulez-vous prendre votre revanche sur elle et d'autres monstres comme elle?" The question was his way of asking something she would later come to regret. "Vous devrez vous entraîner durement et même dans ce cas, vous risquez de ne pas être en forme ni prêt à traquer les vampires. Si, à un certain âge, je vous considère comme prêt, vous deviendrez un vrai vampire, comme moi, et vous deviendrez tellement plus que vous ne l'auriez jamais fait et je ne l'ai jamais rencontré."He states and she nods, "J'Accepte."she responded.

The man smiled, helping her up before scooping her up into his arms. The small girl, only around eight years old, had long white hair and fair skin. She was a sight to see, even at such a young age.. He'd have to be careful raising her to avoid a beast stealing her away.

~Twenty-One years later~
She stood, a sword in her hand as she cut down seventeen ghouls single-handedly. "Excellent work, mon cher." A handsome red haired male praised, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Now, wait here.. I must locate the problematic bat and deal with it."he said, tsking. She nodded, "Of course, Father."She said, soon sitting down. He vanished, presumably to find the Vampire.

Yes. Her father, least that is what she saw him as, was a vampire much like him. Through the years she had been with him, she had learned not all vampires were evil. Most, perhaps. But there were a few good ones still. And soon.. She'd be, like her father, a vampire. He had agreed to change her upon her thirtieth year alive, and, that was tomorrow. She was somewhat excited by the thought of finally being like him, but, she was as much as excited as she was afraid. She'd have to drink blood to survive after all.. That likely would be easy for her, considering she didn't have to dine on every human, only ones she wanted to. But, taking a human life would be hard since she became a Hunter to protect humans.

It was now, that she would be grabbed, hands sliding over her clothed body disgustingly. "My.. I can see why that old man treasures you.. Such a body.. and you smell sweeter than any virgin i've met.."He purred into her ear, his vile tongue licking her neck. It may have turned her on, was he not undead.

A growl ripped from him as he realized her father had come, already. "Arabella, you let your guard down.."He scolded, with a frown. "S-sorry, father."She stuttered, a hand on her throat tightening slightly when she began to speak. "Quiet, little Lamb. You killed all my ghouls, and expect me to leave this Virgin Mary alone?"He asks her father, a laugh coming from him. "A thick head you have." He had, smirking. Her father scoffed, "Don't make me laugh, you are as arrogant as you are stupid. I knew you'd come for her. I purposely left to lure you here."He says, chuckling. "My dear, you are aware if i kill him as is, i will have to pierce through you as well, yes?" The vampire that held her grit his teeth, "why you-" She smiled, "Of course.. I knew you wouldn't wait till tomorrow, Gabriel."she said and he chuckled, he removed the sword from it's sheath and rushed, the sword piercing through her stomach and the vampire's as well. He moved it, pulling her from the other vampire before driving the sword through it's heart. "To hell with you, you vile parasite."He growled, turning to Arabella and walking toward her. "That wound will kill you slowly... You must choose - the path of a Vampire who kills her kind.. Or death."He says, kneeling beside her. "I choose the path of my father, the vampire Gabriel."She says, earning a smirk from the vampire. "Very well, mon cher, when you wake.. You will be a vampire.. My fledgling...."
