Chapter 1 : Realization

I was getting my makeup fixed in our waiting room. We had to go on stage in about 25 minutes. A few of my group members were busy staring at the screen in front of the couch they were sitting on. I wondered what they were extremely focused on, but then soon got disappointed. It was just TWICE. I feel like we ALWAYS watch TWICE's stage since they often perform right before us at music festivals or awards. I guess I'm just not that interested towards girl groups or anything.... well I mean I found out I was wrong. When I got my makeup all fixed, I joined the boys while giving them a disappointed stare.

 "What's wrong?" Jungkook asked playfully after noticing my stare.

 "Yeah Taehyung, why are you always acting like you're not interesting in girls?" Jin added onto Jungkook's question.

 I rolled my eyes while letting a gentle smile appear on my face.

 "Stop being silly guys. You all know that I'm interested in girls. I'm just not OBSESSED like you guys."

 Jin, Jungkook, and Namjoon turned to face me. While raising his eyebrows, Namjoon spoke with a confident voice,

 "You're not saying that while you see these cute and adorable girls on screen, are you?"

 I simply shrugged and raised my eyebrows to show that 'I wasn't interested'.

 "Don't lieee hyunngggg. I bet you'll fall for at least one of the member's in TWICE if you look closer." Jungkook said while smirking.

 "Why don't we ship him with one of the members from TWICE?" Hoseok calmly suggested, after appearing out of nowhere.

 "Ooooo, good idea bro. Let's make Taehyung's heart flutter heheh." Namjoon was definitely excited.

 So were the rest of the members.

 I sighed,

 "I can't believe you guys are actua-"

 "Okay listen up Taehyung. We will tell you the names of each member when they appear on screen." Jin just cut my sentence.

 Everyone was too excited, as if they were young teenage boys. I just stayed quiet and let them do what they wanted to.

 "Okay.... so.,, oh! that's Nayeon, and then... Chaeyoung. Now Mina, and the one beside her is Jeongyeon.."

 I yawned as I was losing interest.

 "Her name is Momo, and this girl in Dahyun...."

 My concentration boosted as I finally saw someone decent.

 'hmm... she's cute.'

At that moment, I didn't realize what I was thinking, nor how I looked like.

"Oh guys, look at Taehyung! He suddenly seems interested!" Hoseok exclaimed.

"Wait... so, who was it? Who's the girl that made our Taehyung's heart flutter?" Namjoon asked while looking impatient.

"It was Dahyun!! Wow, the annoying Kim Dahyun out of everyone?! I can't believe you hyung..." Jungkook shook his head as if I made the wrong choice.

 "Why are you saying that she's annoying?" I asked, just out of curiosity.

 "Don't you know our maknae Jungkookie was close school friends with Dahyun? They still keep contact with each other after graduating." Jin told me, with a voice tone of 'You didn't even know that?'.

 'oh... so Jungkook wasn't actually being serious.' I thought to myself.

 Jin eyes slightly widened,

 "*gasp* Taehyung didn't deny it! It's true! He's interested in Dahyun!"

 He was obviously over reacting. I just tried to keep a straight face to show them that I'm still 'not interested'.

 "Well I guess we have an official ship that we'll be shipping for the next 2 years!" Namjoon exclaimed, like an excited child.

 "or even more! I'll tell Dahyun the news too!!" Jungkook added.

 "NO, Jungkook. Don't you dare do that. If you do, I wil-"

 "Awwww, look at shy Taehyunggg. He doesn't want to let his crush knowww." Hoseok was teasing me.

 I didn't even want to imagine how often they would tease me for this.... 

Just in time, Yoongi came in our waiting room.

 "Guys, we gotta get ready to go on stage now."

Finally, TWICE's stage was about to end, and it was our turn to go on. We were standing under the stage while waiting for TWICE to finish their performance. As expected, Hoseok, Jin, Jungkook and Namjoon didn't quit on teasing me. I just rolled my eyes, but I constantly had a smile on my face. Suddenly, I realized something odd.

'This is weird... Why does this not feel that bad?'
