Chapter Eight: Changing

I looked at Naomi in disbelief. "Are you crazy?!" I whispered. "Do you know what our parents are gonna say?" Naomi shook her head. "They don't have to know about it." she answered. "Anyways, how would we change into one? We better not be like this permanently."

"We could ask Blade. His dad might have something." Naomi suggested. We then heard the door open, revealing Blade and the other male vampires. "I thought you guys would be with the others." Jack thought.

"Yeah, that's what we thought too." I replied. "Turns out that only "vampires" are allowed, not humans." Blade nodded his head. "I don't know why she acts like that."

Naomi looked at me, then back at Blade. "Is it okay if we request a small favor?" Naomi asked. Blade gave her his full attention. "Is it okay if you try to make us vampires?"

All of the male vampires stopped what they were doing and looked at us, with their piercing black eyes. Blade smirked and walked over to us. "You guys want to be vampires?" he questioned. Naomi nodded. I looked at her, feeling uneasy about this situation.

"You know, you have to be born a vampire, right?" Daniel asked her. "Not necessarily." Jaden replied. "Remember how you guys said something about the Chemical Z?"

I scanned all of them, to study their facial expressions. "Chemical Z is very dangerous. Especially to the human body." Antonio explained. "Are all you guys full vampires?" I asked. Blade nodded. "Except for me of course, and Ian."

I looked at Naomi and pulled her over to the side so I could speak to her privately. "You're not serious, are you?" I asked with a worrisome tone of voice. Naomi gives me the "does it look like I'm joking" look.

"You know that I can't be doing things like this!"

"Come on, Juliette!" Naomi pleaded. "I'll make a deal with you, if your mom finds out, I'll take all the blame."

I automatically shook my head. "No, not gonna happen." I walked up to Blade so I could talk to him about the situation. "If we were to be partially vampires, would it be possible if I could change back into a human?" I questioned. Blade thought for a moment. "It is possible, but it would be a 5 day process." He replies. I nodded with a smile.

I walked back to Naomi, her eyes lit up when she saw me smiling. "We're gonna be vampires." I told her.

-4 Hours Later-

It took a while, but Naomi and I were now vampires. "If you guys want to shift, think about something that gets you angry." Stefan told us. I immediately thought about Rachel stealing Blade from me, and then I shifted into a vampire. My teeth were razor sharp and I hissed. I felt so strong right now.

"This is amazing!" I spoke. Naomi then shifted into a vampire and then hissed at me for fun. "This is the best thing we've ever done!" Naomi had beautiful red eyes, with a hint of black in them.

"I feel so powerful and strong, somehow." I started to look at my arms and my nails. My nails were now black and a bit pointy. "That's what being a vampire is all about. Your strength will increase and your instincts will increase." Blade explained. He went up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Congrats baby, you're now a vampire."

-30 Minutes Later-

Before I headed home with Naomi, we both shifted back into humans. Our parents can't know anything about what we've done. As I was walking with Naomi, I heard a soft sob coming from her. I stopped walking and so did she.

I looked at her, my eyes full of sorrow. "Naomi, what's wrong?" I asked, softly, while I gently rubbed her arm. "Knowing that Ian is kidnapped, I'm afraid that he's be tortured or something!" Naomi replied in sobs. I quickly went over to her and embraced her into a hug.

"You know what we are capable of now. We I'll get him back." I reassured her.

Well, I hope that we can get him back.

-The Next Day-

The regular day flew by and Naomi and I were back with the pack. "Where the fuck is my brother?!" Blade yelled, while he let out a screech. I squeezed my eyes shut for a second, I'm still not used to the sound. "We will find him!" I reassured him, while my blood started to boil.

"Name someone who would do something that would get you upset like this." Naomi suggested. Blade thought for a moment. Just then, Rachel came up, I assume that she has some words.

"I have a feeling that the person who kidnapped your brother, is associated with someone here." We all looked at her confused. "Who?" Antonio asked, scratching the back of his neck. Rachel then made eye contact with me. Everyone then turned to look at me.

"This bat did it!" she yelled. Everyone then looked at me in disbelief. Blade then walked up to me and stared at me, straight in the eye. "You know something?" he questioned. Before I got a chance to answer, Rachel interrupted me. "It's obvious that she did it! She's jealous that you made me leader so she decides to do something to pay you back for it!"

Are you fucking kidding me?! She has this all in reverse! "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BLAMING THIS SHIT ON-" I screamed at her, almost screeching. "ENOUGH!" Blade screeched, causing the whole entire place to shake. "Juliette, just go. I don't want you here."

"But Blade, I-"

"JUST GO!" he yelled. I saw Rachel smirk out of the corner of my eye. All of the female vampires looked at Rachel like they wanted to kill her. I shifted back into a human and ran out, while Naomi ran after me.

-At Home-

I didn't want to talk to anyone at this point. I was laying down on my bed, crying my eyes out, and being careful that I don't get angry so that I shift. I then heard a faint knock on my bedroom door.

"Juliette, it's Jayda and Naomi here. May we come in?" Jayda asked, softly. I didn't answer, I was way too upset to even talk. I wanted to fucking rip Rachel's guts out. Aliza was right, Rachel does like Blade, and she'll do anything to get him.

30 minutes has passed and I was still laying down on my bed, tears still streaming down my face. What bothered me was that Blade believed Rachel over me. Knowing that I was his girlfriend, I would think that he would believe me.

I guess I was wrong.
