Gracie's POV
Today's the day I've been dreading for weeks. Moving day. My best friend Karli and I are moving out to California. I have never been so scared in my life. Karli and I have been best friends since pre-school. She moved in with my family and I during middle school, now we're seniors in high school. Karli starts yelling at me to get up which snaps me out of my thoughts. Well, here goes nothing.
Karli's POV
Moving to California with my best friend?? SO EXCITED. I jump outta bed and get all my packed bags (which is clothes the furnitures already there) and put them in the car. Now I have to go wake up Gracie. I know Gracie's dreading moving day. We're leaving her sister Gabi and her boyfriend Nathan. Her parents and her two brothers. Gabi and Nathan got engaged and are moving to Cali just a different part so we'll see them a lot. But, the rest of her family lives in VA. Me on the other hand I hated my family. I was so excited to not even be in the same state as them. But, as Gracie and I walked downstairs to say goodbye I realized how much I was leaving. After all our sad and tearful goodbyes we drove to the air port to start our new life in a new state with new people. Who knows maybe we'll even fall in love.
