Betrayed

A/N: I've been working on this one for a while in my free time. I tried not to break verse too much. Hope you like!

A booth for two I sit alone

In solitude, be it a throne

And though I long to see your face

I know I’ve lost that time of Grace

Just leave me be you can not know

And curse me not just let me go

A silent tear upon my sleeve

Shows you how much it hurts to leave

Your stony face has hurt me more

Than venom on a silver sword

Do not unveil yourself to me

Just curse me not and leave me be.

The waves are crashing on the sands

I still remember holding hands

We partied here, just yesterday

Said words that we would always say

Good words they were, but proved not true

I’ll curse you not, away with you.

That yesterday was years ago

My yard is filled with caking snow

Why can I not get over you?

It’s been three years since we were through

My heart is frozen, know no pain,

I curse you now, it was a game.

You did not care one whit for me.

A poison in an aging tree

Begone, you are no friend of mine

A parasite, a creeping vine,

Just let me go you horrid knave

I swear I’ll dance upon your grave.
