It had been about a two weeks since Katia had told her sister that she and Liam were moving out. She still couldn't believe that Kaia wasn't throwing a fit about it. They would be leaving the beach house in a manner of a few days.  Since they'd gotten back from the vineyard she was on pins and needles about telling Kaia about the venue change. Kaia hadn't brought the wedding up in a while. Liam told her she needed to tell her sister. And soon.

They decided to update the decor of their apartment so they were out shopping.  And Katia still had a storage unit with her things in it so they were going to be making a stop there as well.  She figured it was a good time to go through it as well too and get rid of the things she knew she didn't want or need to keep.

After their lunch with Bruce, they both talked to Zayn about Kaia's decision to request a copy of Summer's accident report. He didn't think it was a good idea himself and he had told his wife as much. But sometimes it was better to appease Kaia than to argue with her. Katia told him that Bruce had seen a copy of it many years ago.

As the days went on Zayn watched his wife check the mail every day. He could see her apprehension and tension mounting when it didn't come. She just didn't seem herself. And everyone was taking notice.  He began to worry that she was going to have a nervous breakdown if the report didn't come soon, but he was also more than a little scared of when it did come, how she was going to react.

The report finally came and he watched Kaia set the large envelope on the kitchen counter and she just stared at it.

"Are you going to open it?" He asked.

She shook her head at him. "No, not yet," she said.

They had the same conversation for almost two days. Katia and Liam even would ask her if she was going to open it. If she wanted any of them to be with her when she did. Her response was always the same. "No, not yet." It started to drive them all a little batty.  It got to be that Katia couldn't wait to move. She didn't honestly know how to deal with this side of her sister.

Zayn would also find his wife pacing and holding it. He was about to lose his mind with worry for her. He picked up his phone and called his father in law. He hoped maybe he had a solution.

"You have reached the phone of Bruce Bennet. How can I help you?"

"Hey, Bruce..it's Zayn."

"Well, if it isn't one of my favorite son in laws," Bruce said with a smile.  "How are things? How are my grandbabies?"

Zayn couldn't help but smile a little. "Your grandbabies are good," he said. "Princess Destiny is wondering when you're going to take her shopping," he said with a smirk.

"Anytime," he smiled into the phone. "I was thinking about taking her to do that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique if I can talk her parents into letting me take her for a day."

Zayn couldn't help but laugh. "I'm sure that can be arranged. And Ahmir would like you to come and play chess again," he said.

"I don't know if my pride can handle losing to him again. Your son is one tough cookie. I might need to take some lessons first if you know what I mean," Bruce half-joked but he was still amazed by how well of a player Ahmir was.

Zayn laughed. "He certainly is," he said. "Um....listen can I ask you a favor?"

Bruce scratched his head and sat back in his chair. Unsure what he could do for his son in law.  "Okay, anything for family."

"I know that Katia told you what Kaia has done," he said. "About the...the accident report, she requested."

"Yes, Katia told me she was worried about her sister and her need to investigate their mother's death," Bruce said.
