Chapter 16

I sighed as I climbed off my bike and walked towards the school. We started school today, our senior year.

Through out the rest of summer Tony never spoke, he never went out, he just didn't do anything. His parents had tried taking him to a councilor, but he didn't talk to him, so that didn't work.

I got my books and took my seat in the classroom. The students file in taking their seats, talking about their summer breaks. I watch as he walks in, black skinny jeans, black vans, and a black t-shirt. Did I mention how he's been dressing like someone from the 1800s who is in morning? he took a seat by the window, not even looking at me. That's how it was the whole day, he sat faraway from me, wouldn't look at me , and wouldn't talk to me. The classes were easy, just a welcome back, and hope you have a great year kind of thing.

I walked out of the building heading for my bike. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Tony heading for the sidewalk, when Greg walked up to him. "You piece of shit!" he screamed, Greg punched Tony in the jaw, causing him to stumble back. "You did this! you let her die" he screamed, going for another swing. I ran over just as Tony hit the ground. "You killed her! you did this!" Greg kicked Tony in the stomach, his leg swung back but I pushed him to the ground. "Stop! just stop!" I yelled, I pulled Tony to his feet who quickly pushed me away. "just stay away from me! I want nothing to do with you!" and with that Greg walked away.  "you okay?" but Tony just shook his head, picked up his bag, and walked away. No, no this time. I ran after him, grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. "look, I know your upset about losing your friend,but you can't just sit around. talk to someone! talk to me" he just starred at me for a moment, he looked like he was gonna say something, and I was really hoping he was. "we're done" then he walked away.
