They said that a man discovers their purpose billion years ago and found a way to activate the power of the pentagram then BOOM! Magic is everywhere even in our blood, the Ragenst, have their powers but only to be unlovked when they turns 12, but only a few people in Ragen has an ability to unlock them.
The 5 countries are named Landina (land), Aquanum (water), Airsent (wind), Flamagon (fire), and Kidlin (lightning). The 5 countries were once in peace and harmony, it all changes when the country of Kidlin attacked. The one who led them was their leader a Kidlain. – Each country has a leader Aquana for Aquanum, Landrain for Landina, Airsentum for Airsent, Flamagian for Flamagon and Kidlain for Kidlin-. He wanted more power so he invaded the 4 other countries 1 by one until one day he won. After the war he built an academy, with the help of the other 4 countries, he forced all of the children with magic to study there.
No one knew what’s inside the gate when you are selected in the match and enter until one day, a boy escaped from the academy and told everyone what is going on inside the gate. The players will fight each other after 4 weeks of preparations. After 3 days the Kidlain ordered his men to capture the boy. He also ordered them to execute him live from his palace’s balcony where all of the cameras are focused on the boy.
After that day, the day of the execution of the boy, they broadcasted every scene in the match for every body’s entertainment. At least that’s what they told me.
This year is the 49th anniversary since the year they broadcasted the match. It has already been 5 decades since the match started.
Each year 20 students are chosen to play the match where you bet your own life and power, but it’s deducted to 16 for only 4 nations are picked to participate.
Each country has 2 districts each. Each district will have 2 participants a boy and a girl. Only the students who are aged 12-18, with magic, are capable to be picked in the Raflen – it is a magical device that contains the names of the students-.
