(Y/n) POV

~~~
The song of dawn played lovingly across the vast land of Hyrule. Morning dew still clung onto grass blades as my feet met the ground. I took a deep breath of fresh air and let the sunlight warm my body.
Overlooking the magnificent mountains and canyons, my eyes came to rest on a small village surrounded by a large body of water. This was Rito Village. From what I could tell, the entire village was built around the giant vertical rock formation that stood in the middle. Circling above all of this however, was a giant bird-like mechanism soaring through the skies. I could only assume this to be Revali's Divine Beast. How in the name of Hylia was it flying!?
"Ready to go (Y/n)?"
Looking back, I saw Zelda with bright eyes and her casual attire on. She looked ten times happier now than she ever did while at the castle. Link was at her side, stoic as ever. In the background, Vah Harune loomed over us, bright blue lights glowing excitedly.
"Definitely!"
Some days after the other Champions left the castle, Zelda approached me and said that she would be traveling to Rito Village on official business. Since I was still hanging around the castle, she asked if I could escort her there with the help of Harune. Being a Divine Beast, Harune could travel faster then any old horse. Eager to travel anywhere, of course I agreed, as long as she would direct me the way there.
I left Harune atop a plateau next to Cuho Mountain, just past the Tabantha Frontier. Zelda wanted to make sure it was out of the way of civilians.
We made our way downhill and found a trail leading to a stable outside the village. The walk there was relatively uneventful, despite the three of us having to sneak past a sleeping Hinox! Myself and Link were quick to spot the massive one eyed monster and slowly snuck past it while guarding Zelda.
Passing the stable by, we crossed a few wooden bridges and were met with the entrance of Rito Village. A Rito guard greeted us and respectfully bowas as we passed under the wooden archway.
Acsending the stairs, I felt an exciting urge to run ahead. Feeling it not appropriate, I resisted. Instead I continued to walk calmly behind Zelda and Link, revelling in the sights of the village silently.
All the buildings were actually huts. They had no walls. Wooden pillars supported a roof with colorful rugs along the flooring. Hamicks were clinging to the top of the pillars. I guess the Rito preferred those over beds.
"I wonder where Revali is..?" I wondered out loud by accident. Last time I'd spoken with the Rito Champion, he had told me all about his village. Which was another reason I agreed to escort Zelda, I wanted to see if his boosting was just all talk.
"He's most likely training at the Flight Range" Zelda said, pulling me from my thoughts, "Or perhaps he's atop of Vah Medoh" She stopped in her tracks and turned back to look at me curiously, "Why? Were you hoping to catch him? I did send him a transmission saying we'd be visiting"
"I would like to say hi at least" When she didn't reply I asked a different question, "Are you going to speak with the Rito chief right away?"
"Not yet" She replied, "It's still early and I imagine the elder would still be resting. I'll be heading to the inn and meet with him sometime mid day" Looking back at me, she grinned, "Hm, although you seem like you'd rather not spend the morning lounging around"
It's true, I wasn't tired in the slightest from the journey here. My feet were eager to explore the rest of the village.
"I'll reserve a bed for you. Link, take her bag"
