NOTE: This story will be in Bellona's POV most of the time, but I may switch every now and again. Also, I will not be using any lines from the movie. I do not own TMNT! Only Bellona.

BELLONA'S POV-

I was found in sewers by Splinter when I was only a baby. I was in a pile of trash crying my little eyes out when Splinter happened upon me that fateful night. He picked me up and he took me home to his sons, they were six at the time. He tried to find my parents, but to no avail. I was adopted into their family and he named me Bellona. I was human, but my brothers were mutant turtles and my father was a giant rat, but I fit right in with them.

My life was pretty normal, well, almost normal. I learned at a very young age that having turtles and rats as a family wasn't the norm, but it was my normal. Anyway, things changed when I was 9 and my brother's were 15. They were training with Splinter, I was too young to train with them at the time, when these metals things broke into our home. They completely destroyed it and we were forced to move, that motivated Splinter to start training me to fight. I didn't get to join my brothers in their battles against Shredder, but they didn't need me. They won against Shredder all by themselves and defeated him. We were happy for a little while, but then Leonardo was sent away for training. I was 10 when I said goodbye to my eldest brother, I'm not ashamed to say I cried as I watched him walk away from us.

He walked away and that brings us to the present, two years later. I'm 12 now and my brothers are 18, life is miserable. They like to act like we're fine, but we're not. We were all upset when Leo didn't come home the next year, Rapheal took it harder than all of us. Donatello tried to fill Leonardo's shoes, but it was hard for him to keep an eye on Michelangelo.

I sighed in annoyance as I sat at the kitchen table, working out the math that Donatello had given me. Splinter put him in charge of my schooling a few years ago, lucky me. I usually was able to get it done pretty fast, but my thoughts were somewhere else today.

"What are you sighing about? It's just fractions, it's easy."I heard Don's voice from the lab where he was doing his IT thing.

"No, it's not that."I replied as I watched Donatello walk in and sit next to me at the table, he looked tired. I wonder if he slept at all last night."I was thinking about Leo, do you think his ever coming back?"I asked softly

We rarely ever talked about Leo anymore, it was too hard to think about our big brother not coming home.

DONATELLO'S POV-

My eyes widened slightly at Bellona's question, she hadn't asked that question in awhile. I didn't even know how to respond and that was a rarity for me.

I was the smartest in our little team, but I didn't have an answer for this."I don't know Bell.."I answered her in a quiet voice. I watched as Bell's face fell slightly at my words, I knew she wanted to hear something different.

After Leo left, I figured I would be the one who had to keep us all together and I was right. I had failed miserably though, our family was a mess and I was sure that things couldn't get any worse than this.

BELLONA's POV-

I didn't blame Donatello for not giving me a straight answer, Leonardo was a mystery half of the time.

I was about to continue on with my homework when Michelangleo walked into the lair. He looked like crap so I assumed that he just got back from a wild birthday party. He dragged himself to the couch and turned on the news, a story on the nightwatcher was on."I remember what that use to feel like!"He exclaimed.

Donatello just rolled his eyes as Mikey jumped on the couch, flexing his muscles."Those days are over Mikey, we need to stop thinking a about."He said as he continued to work on whatever it was that he was working on.

"Spoken like a true has been!"A voice said with a familiar Brooklyn accent.

I watched as Raphael jumped off the railing to the top foyer, landing on his feet. It was rare that he was awake during the day, he usually just slept.

"Look whose finally awake. I suppose that you think the Nightwatcher is a hero?"Donnie asked in annoyance.

Raphael glared at him before."At least he gets things done instead of hiding down here all day!"

Donatello glared right back at Raph."And what do you do all day other than sleep? What contributions have you made to this team?"He snapped. Raphael just chuckled darkly."What team?"He said with a dark expression.

I had seen this happen most days, him and Donatello would argue all the time. I was sick of it, so I stood up out of my seat."Shut up! Both of you! Why do you guys have to be so bone-headed all the time? Raph, leave Don alone! His just trying to help."I growled as I stalked up to my older brother. I wasn't very tall, I barely came up to his chest.

"Your no better than the rest of them! I've seen you train with Splinter. Your good, but you continue to hide down here when you don't have too!"He said coldly.

"Your just upset that Leo is gone."I said in a soft tone. I know that I reached no man's land when I brought our eldest brother up.

If looks could kill then I would be dead with the look I was getting from Raphael."Shut up, you little brat! What do you know, your not even part of this team."He retaliated.

My eyes widened in hurt from his words."I hate you.."I muttered.

"Bellona! Raphael!"I heard Splinter's stern voice call as he walked into our little scene, but I didn't want to hear it.

I turned away and walked up the stairs onto the cat walk on the top foyer. I walked into my room and slammed then door as I collapsed on my bed. I knew that Raph didn't mean it, but it still hurt. I looked at the picture near my bed, it was of me and my brothers. I looked at the image of Leonardo as I felt tears fall down my cheeks.

"Please, come back Nii-San. We need you."I muttered softly, but I figured that my pleas would go unanswered.
