" What are you supposed to be?" She asked the violet eyed girl. The woman before her cocked her head, she seemed to be in her early 20s. There was blood on both her wrists, her hair a mess and her blood red eyes seem to be looking into her soul.

" I don't know." She replied slowly while shaking her head. " I'm an old soul. That's for sure." Her face changed a bit as if she remembered something. " Pyx?" She looked back and found what seemed to be a mirror. Another violet eyed lady was looking back. The same violet eyes looking at her. " Some gift for the gods. Right, he took a part of me and made it another being." She touched the mirror but when she spoke, the lady did not.

" So there's two of you." She mused. " Don't give me that look. It's not my first time seeing stuff like this. And you're not the first person to be under conflicting existential crisis." Veena chuckled lightly, she found this stranger quite interesting.

" I know that." She smiled gently. " Wolf." The blonde glanced over her shoulder, a mirror with the image of a rather large white wolf stood there, staring into the same blood red eyes.

" Touche."

" You're not from Remnant, are you?"

" Never heard of it. So you're in a different dimension. Not my first time meeting someone out of my world." She's had her experiences with this stuff but being in some white space with just the two is new to her. She found the situation amusing. " So there's gotta some connection between us or something."

" Perhaps. I think I'm dying." She remembers her fight and the fact that she was plunged into the dark pool.

" Same." She confessed. " Had a fight?"

" Yes. Self-inflicted?" The woman seemed a bit surprised as she looked down on her wrists, blood had run down quite a lot.

" That obvious?" The violet eyed girl rolled her eyes and nodded. " This could be some sort of purgatory. I don't know, just saying. Well, if we're stuck together might as well break the ice. I'm Glade, you can call me G." Glade insisted.

" Veena Cloud but you can refer to me as Vienna." Glade thought that she talks like an old lady.

" Veena, get up. Come on, we need you." They heard the echo of a Oscar's voice, followed by a young girl. Ruby.

" Glade, hang on. God damnit, what the hell were you thinking?" A man said to her in an echoing voice.

" I don't think we're destined to die yet." Veena said to her with a gentle smile.

" Guess not," The mirrors behind them cracked as the image behind them tried to get through. " I really have been holding back."

" I need to be whole." They glanced at each other as the mirror continues to break. " Perhaps this is our connection. We aren't whole or something similar."

" I guess. Hey, you peak my interest. I'll come look for you when I get the chance." Veena smiled and nodded, accepting her statement. " By the way, I'm a demon." The mirror shattered and Veena found herself back at Salem's domain. Her head supported by the farm boy who called her.

" Oh, thank goodness." Oscar sighed but before he could fill her in, a powerful blast threw Raven through the wall, she caught a glimpse of her wine red eyes' glow, fading as she passed through the smoke and debris. Yang instinctively ran after her. Oscar gasped as Veena rose, black binds over her eyes as she moved. The horns that poked out of her hair seem to show itself proudly.

" How unfortunate." Salem mused, a short fired and before she knew it Veena was already in front of her face. She swung the scythe precisely to avoid hitting the grimm woman. Salem gave a frustrated cry as she attempted to hit her several times with only a few near misses. " How dare you."

" That's better, you look much better with your hair down." Veena smiled as Salem took a moment to register her hair. It was untied and a mess. Veena moved quickly and somehow manipulated her way to position Harbinger's handle against Salem's neck as she stood behind her. " Now, Little Rose." Ruby hesitated. The building was coming down and she realizes that Veena had also been tainted by the pool as whites of her eyes were now black. " Ruby, look at me. It's okay." She took a breath and her eyes glowed brighter than it ever did. Rubble started to fall, Weiss managed to shield herself, Oscar, Ruby and Blake.

" Mom?" Yang called out as she ran after the direction her mother was thrown. " Mom!" She cried out as she spotted her. She knelt down to her mother's side placed one hand gently on the debris that weighed on her and with all her might she punched it to dust. She heard Raven stir and reacted quickly. " Mom, it's okay we'll get you out of here." Yang looked around for someone, anyone to help her, she froze as a hand gently touched her face.

" Yang," Raven began with a gentle smile on her face. " It's okay," Yang stared at her and shook her head as she struggled to accept what she might. " I love you so much. Both you and your father. Let him know that, ok?"

" Shut up. You're going to be fine." She spat out angrily as she held her mother's hand tightly. " Jaune'll be here and he'll heal you. You're going to be fine." Hot tears stained her cheeks. " Please, you can't just leave me again. Not like this."

" My sweet, sunny little dragon. You can tell my men that you're in charge when I'm gone."

" Stop it. Just shut up!" She was practically screaming now. " You can't end like this. You just came back...." Raven smiled at her weakly.

" You're so strong. Stronger than me...." She slowly closed her eyes and her grip softened. Yang tried to wake her but to no avail. She tried to control her breathing and fought against tears. She felt a burning sensation inside and without knowing, her eyes started to glow lilac like her eyes. Her hair was starting glow and Sparks of flames were rising. She screamed as loud as she could.

" Qrow?" Winter stirred as she opened her eyes. She froze as she found herself still in his arms and terribly close to his chest. " Qrow," She called a little louder this time but he didn't move. He started to stir and his wine red eyes met her blues.

" Hey, Ice Queen..." He muttered as he smiled. She took him by the lips, to his surprise. He accepted her and returned it. " Were you worried about me?" He chuckled lightly. Winter huffed and rolled her eyes. " Aw, don't be mad, Ice Queen." A smile escaped her lips as they took in each other's arms. The sound of crackling thunder interrupted them as dark clouds started to gather around them and centered on where Salem's mansion would be. They way the clouds gathered so quickly were a miracle on it's own. It couldn't have been Cinder and the only other maiden he knew was, " Raven." Lightning showered down instead of rain, fortunately striking the grimm rather than the Atlisian soldiers. Medics managed to rush to the side of those who needed it.

Blake dodged the debris as fast as she could, her eyes searching for the blonde girl whom was everything to her.

" Yang! Yang?" She called out and heard her scream. " Yang!" She ran towards her and found her crying over Raven's still body. " Yang..." She approached her slowly and sat next to her. Yang was bent over her mother, never letting go of her hand. Blake hugged her to offer comfort but she never let go of her hand. This was it, the guards came in rushing in to aid them. Those involved with Salem were captured and all those who were injured were treated immediately. Even Cinder and Watts.
