prologue;

Throughout a person's life, they are taught how to love. It's an essential part of life, right?

Well, when taught how to love, they aren't getting taught how to stop loving. When to stop loving.

It's like riding a bike, you see. You're taught how to ride a bike at a young age. When you're little, you pedal backwards to stop moving forward, right? You also have training wheels to help you because the road's a little rocky and you could fall off. As you get ahold of balance, the training wheels get taken off. It's still a little hard because you don't have support anymore. You're all on your own. As you get older, you can't pedal backwards to move forward. If you pedal backwards, you keep moving at a slower pace and it's harder to stop moving forward. So don't go super fast.

Imagine the bike as love. You're taught how to love at a young age. When you're little, moving backwards in a relationship stops you from moving forward in a relationship. You also have those training wheels - known as parents in this illustration - to guide you throughout the relationship, because relationships get pretty rocky. Once you get ahold of a relationship, you don't need the parents to help you anymore. You're on your own. Getting older, you can't move backwards to stop, you keep moving but you slow down. So be careful about going fast, because if you don't like it it's a little harder to stop.

Maybe Maya and Harry need a little kid bike again, because they're having troubles to stop moving forward.
