"Check f-ing mate." I said. DeVanté wanted to play chess again or should I say, get his ass beat at it again.
"You lose again, daddy!" Diane cheered me on. "I swear you're cheating, I just don't know how."
"To play." Diane teased him and I high fived her. "Y'all bully me too much." He frowned.
While this was all happening, I didn't realize that someone picked the locks on the door and entered. "Who the hell...?"
"C'mon, hurry yo ass." Cynthia yelled, dragging someone along. It was revealed to be her boyfriend since '88, Larenzo. And I can already tell by his face, that she drove him mad.
"What's up, Car? How you been baby cousin?" She smiled at me.
"Third room on the left." I rolled my eyes. She always used to pry into my grandmother's house because she needed a place to sleep. "Carmen, why the hell she just pop in here like she own the place?" DeVanté whispered in my ear. "Don't worry, she'll be gone in about two or four days."
"I hope so, I need the place empty for when we get our freak on."
"You know what you pervert, stay away from me." I pushed him away. He grabbed me and nuzzled my neck. "You know you love me."
"Aw, when's the wedding?" Cynthia said walking past us with a bag of chips in her hand. "Oh and Carmen, I sort of brung someone along with us. A very special friend that you might remember." she looked at me and smirked. Oh no, don't tell me its-
"Hola, peasants." Cynthia's friend, Kiamora shouted and walked in. She also brought along her older brother, Trevor. Who so happened to have a crush on me when we first met. Great...
Back to present
"Let me tell you something about Kiamora. Now it might seem like I don't like her, but that's not true. I despise the fuck out of her, excuse my language. She has gotten on my nerves when we first met and has been ever since. The real issue started in the summer of 1988..."
