Clary's POV
I really do hate shopping or well at least when it's with girls. They just give you all these dresses and stuff that you should try on. Ugh!
At the mall
"Hey Iz!" I said when I approached the group. Izzy was there obviously then there was her brother, Alec I think and the boy with golden hair, Jack... I think?
"Hey Alec, right?" I asked the boy with the blue eyes.
"Hey." He replied shortly.
"What was your name again? It was Jack? John? Jane? No that's to girly. Jace? Jace, yeah, am I right? Jace?" I asked hesitantly.
"Jace is right, Clarissa." He said.
Jace's POV
She really didn't remember my name? Well I guess I threw her off when I said her full first name. Wait, how didn't I notice before? I carefully looked on Clarissa's upper body. She was covered in runes, just like the ones Izzy, Alec and I have. I caught Alec's gaze and sent a silent message to him about what I just found out.
Clary's POV
"So how come you are a Shadowhunter? Alec asked me.
Damn it! Are they also Shadowhunters? I didn't think they would be.
"Obviously it's cause I have demon blood." I replied sarcastically.
"Really?" Jace asked and raised an eyebrow, I've always wanted to be able to do that! Out of the corner of my eye I could see Jace putting his hand in his pocket, he probably stuffed a seraph blade in it.
"No, of course I don't have demon blood. I have angel blood, dumbass." I told them.
Izzy went and took my arm and dragged me with her.
"Let's go to Forever21 first"
