~It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess.~

when me and my mother were arguing she did the unbelievable and smashed my phone against the wall. i sit on my bed, my christmas lights behind me giving the room a feel. I hit my dab pen and hold my breath for seven seconds. I can't believe she did that? what am i supposed to do? I have no one to talk to, and usually i would go to Emilys but i can't stand Ethan. i cant even believe hes back. that boy has put me through hell and back. how do i face either of the twins?

CLRKK

i turn my head towards the window. a little crack lays on my window. what the fuck? I sigh getting off my bed. what idiot this time is trying to confess their love. you bring a guy home to have fun the next day he texts you five times asking when you want to hang out.  But we don't talk about that. I walk to my window and move the curtains a little more to see who it is.  the person is small and is wearing a huge neon pink shirt. i move my hair behind my ear. Its Emily! i unlock the little switch to my window. i cant believe she came here to rescue me. i slowly open my window and flinch when it makes a creaking noise. I quickly but quietly slip my head through the window.

"what are you doing here?" i whisper/yell. my  blonde locks move in front of my face and i sigh. i really need to get more ponytails. i don't understand how they can just go missing. but thats money i dont have.

"I wanted to make sure you were ok. i texted you but you haven't responded in eight hours. and you said how your mom and dad were arguing." she says she sounds sad.  I smile a sad smile and i'm so blessed to have a great friend like Emily.

"i Can't leave. my Parents would flip out if they heard me leave." i respond to her. although it sounds almost tempting to get in trouble just to hang out with Emily for an hour.  She smiles at me and then grabs a handful of hair and puts it up in a messy bun. the she shakes her body as if getting rid of all the stress.

"I never said you would be using the front door." she smirks.

oh lord.
