People tend to be creatures of habit. Routine is important.

Though sometimes it good shake things up.

The sound of gunfire courses throughout the house as my brother held me close his chest. I could hear the shouting of people saying bad words.

", it will be okay. I'll protect you, I'll always protect you." Ashton whispered as tear streamed down my checks.

A promise one he didn't make to keep.

It reeked of sweat, beer and desperate people in hopes of getting laid. The lights flashed as the music bumped through the speakers, sending vibrations through the air.

I pushed past the people bumping and grinding against one another. Making my way to the back door I pushed it open. Allowing Pedro to follow suit while the other two men stayed at the door.

The hallways was dark and cold compared to the front of the club. No lights flashing or loud music. It was utter and complete silence. I loved it.

My heels clicked on the wood steps as I descended into the basement of the club. The silence faded as laughter came more into tune.

"Annalisa! My darling, you look as beautiful as ever." Joe stood up to great me.

After being wrapped in a brief hug it was time for business.

"Do you have what I asked for?"

I watched as the old man with the beer belly plucked a vanilla folder from his desk. Snatching it I peeked inside.

A smirk on my face as it was exactly what I requested.

Turning to Pedro I nodded, "Pay the man."

Looking back at the photo in the folder, I couldn't think that my plans were finally falling into place.

"Love doing business with you darling! Tell you dad I say hey!" Joe called out as I turned to walk out.

I sipped my wine as I looked through the file.

Name : Christen Ruiz

DOB : 09/02/1996

Location: Los Angeles, California

I poured my wine as I flipped through the papers looking for a exact location.

Skimming through the second page I found it.

University. Of course.

I grabbed the photo.

What an attractive man, to bad he won't live long enough to graduate.

I leaned back in my chair, a smile on my face as I made a call.

"Yes?"

"Pack your things, we're going to LA."
