After our date
She decided she would take me home
In my car
She made me sit in the passenger seat
It was strangely exhilarating
Not having to call the shots
She parked in my garage
And walked me to my front door
And leaned in
I was a strawberry
I dreamt about this cliche date closer
Since childhood
But she didn't kiss me
She whispered
"Don't let anyone change you Autumn Lily Evans"
I didn't know what she meant
Who would change me
She did weird things like that all the time
So I didn't think anything of itMaybe I should have
Maybe if I did she'd still be hereShe kissed me on the forehead
But I was not satisfied
I was getting my cliche date end
I pulled her back
Looked her right in the eyes
And kissed herEvery one dreams about their first kiss
And often times it's a bleak affair
But when I tell you
I had never
And will never
Experience anything remotely similar
I'm telling the truthHer lips felt like pillows
Her mouth tasted like peaches
She made me feel like fall had bloomed
In a millisecond
But only we could behold it's beautyOnly we knew
