Awakening from a deep sleep,short breaths hit my bare neck,arms wrapped around me so lightly,I see Daniel as I turn.Carefully twisting out of his arms.Slipping downstairs,preparing a quick breakfast for Dani and I,after scarfing down my food,I make my way back upstairs,grab my bathroom essentials,and take a quick,yet relaxing shower.
Getting out,letting Daniel get in.I dress in plaid jeans,a white sweater,and mesh heels.My hair gets tossed into a top knot,and I apply a pink makeup look.Dani comes out,hair slicked to the left,orange undershirt,black tee,jeans with an orange belt,and black docmartin's.

Daniel's eyes lingered over my body before projecting themselves to my eyes.
Daniel:You look beautiful Nina.So since the gala is tonight,I was wondering if you'd accompany me as my date?
Me:I'd be honored Dani.
As I turn to grab my bag,strong hands pull me back to my previous stance,and flip my body around,making my hands land on the person's chest.I look up to be met with Daniels ocean Blue orbs,as his stare into my blue crystals.Before my lips are able to drop words,warm passionate filled lips are magnetized to mine.A saddened and confused expression is projected onto my face as his lips leave mine.
Me:What was that for?
Daniel:It's because I love you,now let's go we don't wanna be late.
-15 minute drive to work-
Daniel and I proudly walk hand and hand,showcasing our friendship to the building.I peck Dani's cheek before skipping off to my office.Wishing I would've taken my time when I opened the door to reveal Jonah.Staring blankly out of the office window,looking over the city.He only turns when he hears the door click behind me.A smirk applies itself to the corners of his lips before he strides over to me.
Jonah:Ms.Reeves how is your morning going so far?
Me:Quite eventful,how about yours Mr.Marais?
Jonah:Pleasant so far,are you aware tonight is the Gala?
Me:Yes sir,everything is ready and in place.
Jonah:Well how would you like to accompany me?
Me:Actually Mr.Marais,Daniel has already brought the question up,and I've said yes.
Jonah:I understand,well a meeting will be held in my office in precisely fifteen minutes,don't be late Ms.Reeves.
