Jordynn POV
When we pulled up to Leah's Zi and Raina were both sleep. It was around 2:30pm. Leah lived 30minutes away from me. I hated driving this far. I recently started looking for another house closer to everything and everyone. I pulled out my phone and called her.
"Hey girl I'm outside."
"Okay here I come."
Leah came walking out of the house with her slippers and pajamas on. She even had the nerve to have a bonnet on. I laughed as I got out the car and hugged her.
"Oh my gosh girl we got so much catching up to do." She said reaching in the back getting Raina and her diaper bag.
"Shit I know. I just been so busy you know getting used to being a mom and looking for a job and new house. I just been so worn out." I said waking Zi up so he can walk to the house.
I walked in and went to sit on the couch.
"Chris Aunt Jay is here!" she screamed up the steps.
Shortyly after he came running down.
"Aunt Jaaaaay!" He ran and hugged me.
"Hey baby. Look at how big you're getting." I said hugging him back smiling.
Zi sat on the couch next to me.
"Aunt Jay who is that?"
"His name is Zi. I brought him over to play with you."
"Hey I'm Chris." He said smiling at Zi.
"Hi." He said shyly.
"Want to go play in my room. I have all kinds of toys. We could play cops and robbers or we can play the xbox." He said running to his room.
"Okay. Bye Jay Jay." Zi took off running behing Chris.
"So what has been up with you?" I said flicking through the channels.
"Nothing much. Shit me and Chris got into a fight last night. This nigga came home with lipstick on the collar of his shirt. Then when I asked him about it he tried to lie. That just pissed me off more like. So you know I lost my cool and punched his ass right in the mouth." She said laughing.
"Girl no he didn't. I would've did the same shit. These niggas just be thinking we so dumb." I said shaking my head laughing.
"So where he at now?"
"Girl I don't know and I don't give a fuck. I took my house key and told him get his shit and get out. Shit he probably at his moms. I know he better not come back here." She said kissing Raina's nose and laying her on her chest.
"Damn. So what yall gonna do as far as Lil Chris and Aniya?"
"I don't know honestly. He can see them as much as he want to. I ain't that damn petty. I would never tell him he can't see his kids. My momma did that shit to my dad that's why I'm not really close with her. The kids don't have nothing to do with me and his realationship. He can get them whenever he calls."
"Well yeah you're right. I feel you. They deserve their dad in they life."
"Enough of this bullshit about me. What's been up with you? How does it feel being a first time mom?"
"I mean It's what I expected. I love being a mom but sometimes I wonder where would I be in life now If I didn't have Raina. Sometimes I think about how I'm going to have the conversation with her about her dad when the time comes." I said with tears forming in my eyes.
