I was finally able to sit up and get some actual food in my system. I hear the doors slide open and I see Steve and I see his beautiful smile.
"You're sitting up".
"Yes and eating food now which I'm so hungry for".
Steve kissed my forehead and sat down.
"I've stopped bleeding entirely so now it's just healing. They told me that the iv I was getting was helping that. And either tommorow or the day after I can go home and we can go back home".
"There's something I have to discuss with you".
"Yeah?"
"So I gotta go on another mission, without you this time and I can't look after you and I'd be worrying to much if you were by yourself so you can go to Wakanda or stay with Pepper in the tower".
"I think I'll stay with Pepper she'll keep me company".
"Whatever you want Sweetheart".
"Will you at least be here when I get out?"
"I'm going to try everything I can to stay here til you're released".
"If you gotta go you gotta and I completely understand that".
"Darling you are so much more important to me".
"You save the world it's what you do and I couldn't be more prouder of you dear".
Steve smiled so big my heart melted he kissed my nose, I smiled.
"You're of the reasons I do this".
"Imagine our children Steve, they'll be so beautiful. Just like I'm sure this one was".
"Things happen doll. It'll be okay hun".
"I know".
"I love you. You know that?"
"Course I know I love you too".
