"They say, all you need to be great in life is the ability to remember every scar." - S.King
The rain poured down heavily on the sidewalk. The sole of my heel slammed into a puddle of shallow water as I rushed for dear life.
He was coming.
"Please, stop!" I yelled, my voice blurring in with the rain. Several passerby's stared me down as I brushed past them with almost no regard, and I turned round swiftly, finding myself in an alley.
A rat with a long scaly tail scurries under a rusted metal trashcan as I find myself at a dead end.
I hear his footsteps and I turn around, falling to my knees and clasping my dirty palms together.
"Please. . ."
He turns around the corner, his blue tank top pasted to his fair skin by the rain. Droplets of water run down his skin.Tears gush down my face, mixing with the rainwater as he grabs my head. . .
And slams it into the brick wall."Now, Nya..." he chuckles.
"What did I tell you about making a scene?"Hope you enjoyed this prologue! More coming soon!
