The Others

Louis POV

I look at her beautiful brown eyes and how she spoke with such confidence.

She was just... amazing.

"Okay do over here are practically all the okay classes like English and art and music classes." I say as I point at different classroom doors.

"Where's the cafeteria?" Clementine asks as she tightens her grip on her backpack strap.

"Oh! Of course, well it's down the hall near food tech." I reply.

We both continue the tour and we come to the class I'm in.

"Well, it was nice to be your tour guide Clementine but, this is where I stop." I say as I begin to turn around.

A hand grabs my shoulder with a tight grip and I turn back around to see Clementine looking at a little white sheet.

"Wait I'm... I'm in your core group apparently?" Clem explained.

"R-really? That's great! Just... sit next to me and I can help you out through the lesson!" I say excitedly.

I show her a big goofy smile and she giggles.

"Well I... can't wait to work with you Louis." Clementine said.

The bell suddenly rang and that meant it was time for school to start.

We split paths and I enter my care group and sit on a chair.

Clementine is so out of my league. I wonder if she likes me? Or even considers me a friend? Well maybe if I hang with her some more and even introduce her to my friends she might like me some more.

My thoughts trail off and out of nowhere the bell sounds and we all get up and grab our bags.

I walk down the hall towards my locker bay and suddenly Violet runs up next to me.

"Hey Vi." I say.

"Hey Louis. What class do you have?" Violet asks.

"Uhh I have English I'm pretty sure." I reply as I scratch my head.

"Oh, cool." Violet says. "Coming to lunch with Marlon, Ruby, Omar and I?"

"Sure why not! I EVEN have a surprise for you all." I announce.

"Ugh your surprises are the worst Louis. Last time you surprised us you pulled out a snake from your backpack." Violet groans.

"Hey! That snake was cool Vi." I say.

"And you know what else is cool? Showing up to prom this year. You ditched me and I had to ACTUALLY hang out with my date and it was the worst."

"I'm sorry Vi. I was busy okay? I'll make it to prom I prom-ise!" I laugh.

Violet swings a punch at my arm and I yell out an ouch. I rub my arm and roll my eyes.

Slowly, I make my way to my English class and wait outside the door.

Suddenly, Clementine shows up and stands behind me.

"Hey clem. I was wondering... sooo do you wanna hang out with me at lunch?" I ask.

What if she rejects me? I'm not coop enough for someone like her so I wouldn't be surprised...

Clementine pauses for a second and then sighs.

"Uh sure Louis. I'd love to." Clem said smiling.

My heart skipped a beat and I leaned against the classroom door.

Suddenly, the door swings open and I fall backwards and then thud onto the floor.

I look up to see Clementine laughing at me as she reaches her hand out.

"You are such a dork you know that right?" Clem smiles.

She picks me up and we walk into class together.

I scratch my neck as I giggle at my stupidity.

"We should sit over here. Its the best seat in the class." I mention as i point towards two empty desks at the back of the classroom.

"Umm okay i guess so." Clementine says.

We both walk towards the desk and place our things on the table.

~Time Skip cause im lazyyyyy~

I grab Clems hand and run out of the locker room. 

"Okay okay. Ready to meet all my friends?" I shout excitedly as i dash through the halls with Clementine.

"Woahhh Louis. S-slow down!" Clem shouts.

I ignore her comment and then i run to the cafeteria and see my friends sitting at a table near the window.

"Guys! Im here and i brought a very special someone i would like you all to meet." I smile.

I move out of the way and see Clem standing there with one hand tightly gripping her backpack strap as she smiles a tiny bit.

"Who the hell is she Louis?" Violet asks.

"Vi dont be rude." Aasim says nudging Violet.

"Clementine."

There was an awkward silence.

"Ehem. My name is Clementine." Clem says.

"Well its nice to meetcha Clementine." Ruby smiles.

"I've never seen you around here. Are you new?" Marlon asks

"Uhm yeah... I just started going to this school." Clem answers.

"Clem and I both have the same classes together. Isnt that cool?" I say proudly.

"Whatever. Wheres Omar??" Violet asks, crossing her arms.

"He's on vacation remember?" Aasim sighs.

Clementine looked a bit nervous so I pointed towards the chair.

"You can sit down... Right Clem?" I ask.

"Oh! Uh ye-yeah umm I'll do that." Clem smiles.

I sit next to her and we start to have conversations with the whole table. 

Violet seemed to ignore everything for some reason though... Not sure why but it'll be okay.

~Another time skip~

I walk out of the classroom with Clem and we were assigned a big project.

We just had to find partners.

"Hey uuuh Louis?" Clem asks.

"Yeah whats up?" I ask.

"Do you wanna be my partner in the project?" Clementine asks.

My eyes widen and I smile at her.

"Of course Clem!" I said happily.

"Cool. We can do the project at my house and we can figure out a time." Clem says.

"Okay how are we gonna-"

"Heres my number. I'll text you the address and date and time, okay?" Clem cuts me off.

"Uh okay cool!" I say.

"Nice well... See you tomorrow, Louis." Clem smiles.

"I hope so." I smile.

We wave bye to each other and part ways through the halls.

Im so excited for the project with Clem!!
